(I'm using he/him for Hutz because I usually tend towards using canon pronouns unless it's in the context of my trans headcanons [and I also headcanon that Hutz would prefer to refer to Lionel/Liana as though they are separate entities with their own gendered language]. I'm incredibly fluid when it comes to headcanons especially for a show like this.)

I'm glad somebody caught that and asked about it because now I have an excuse to spout about my insane and practically baseless headcanon!!

Yes, I like to headcanon Troy being Hutz's dad on the basis of a few similarities between them; The hair color, the charm, the desperate need to cling onto a failing career by any means necessary, the natural acting skills, the being voiced by Phil Hartman (and it's not uncommon in the show for the adult characters to have the same VA as their parents). The ages might be a bit of a snag in logic but Troy seems to be squarely in his 40s-50s while Hutz can be anywhere between 20-50 years old given the character designs in this show, but I prefer to imagine him being on the younger side.

Troy's trading card states that he used to be a bar tender before a casting director walked in and was hooked on his natural charms.

I can imagine that, especially as a potential sleazeball who'd grow to be a B-list actor, McClure had relationships with alot of women and potentially married one of them (especially as a way to try and distance himself from his icthyophilia) but then promptly dropped his relationships to live the Hollywood life. (The whole being an ex-bartender thing may also work in parallel with Hutz's drinking problem)

This way, Troy's personality and flighty attitude would've informed the formation of a younger Leo(nel)'s traits even in spite of his absence.

And like, given the stunt Hutz tried to pull with the Miguel Sanchez and Dr. Nguyen Phan Phuoc identity changes I wouldn't at all be surprised if Lionel Hutz wasn't even his birth name.

But like, that's my silly out-there theory/idea that's in keeping with the show's logic of making up lore if it's for a plot/joke. I'm over here thinking like a Simpsons writer if they still had these 2 under their arsenal of characters. I can easily go with a different backstory on a whim but that's the main one I'm using the most when writing/thinking about Hutz.

geiju is like 99% of kaga’s impulse control

mostly kaga talks and geiju listens. they both like it better that way (kaga loves to ramble and geiju doesn’t like being forced to talk)

they do study dates whenever there’s a big test/exam coming up

since they’re in the same class they usually partner up for group projects. everyone expects it to go terribly the first time but they actually work really well together

Geiju doesn't show affection in their relationship. The most that Geiju can do is hold his hand. That's it. The way he holds his hand is awkward and bland. It's the way he is. Kaga is the one mostly doing the affection in the relationship.

The one who asked the other first was Kaga in his own weird way. Geiju accepted (with a lot of begging and a deal between the two).

Kaga is the small spoon, while Geiju is the big spoon. Again, Geiju doesn't do much affection, so most of the time, Kaga is the big spoon and the one dragging Geiju to cuddle with him.

Geiju would use Kaga for his paintings since he's the only one who he can actually convince and force, but it is hard to keep Kaga still during it.

Kaga would make things for Geiju for his paints, art supplies, and art to keep them safe or store them well. He even made a cleaning robot for his boyfriend so he doesn't have to worry about the mess after all of the hard work <3

Kaga tried to show Geiju how beautiful and amazing science can be considering that Geiju doesn't like it from how destructive it can be. He loves his paintings too much.

Whenever they're out on a date, Kaga wears a lot of black clothing as if he's going to a funeral while Geiju wears a lot of unmatched clothing. I feel like he would put on something that he doesn't care much about or clothing that shows art and goes on with his day. Fashion isn't their thing.

There are very, VERY rare occasions where Geiju does smile. Kaga always encourages to keep going. Unfortunately, that's what makes Geiju stop immediately. One moment, he is like :) and then the second after :|.

Kaga would be the one to propose between the two. Geiju can either accept or deny it. I feel like he would deny it because of the waste of time and trouble a wedding can be, especially between two men. He would be the one to discourage the idea. It doesn't stop Kaga, though.

When they do get intimate, Kaga is the first one to start it. Geiju would either reject him or let him do whatever he wanted with him. It depends on how he feels. If Geiju rejects him, Kaga will instead cuddle him.

There are times when they would try to do new things. For example, they would try to cook together, do sports(workout), gardening, etc. Sometimes it does go well and some... uh, it doesn't go very well.

Geiju rarely or never blushes. He is always unfazed with anything intimate and flirtatious that Kaga does to him. He will always be :|. It's something I feel like he would do.

If Shoku was Geiju's brother, Shoku would be happy to see his brother be with someone who loves him for him, even if it's the mad scientist of Akademi.
