@curse-of-frell sent in... Elliot had practically dragged Steve to the diner since it had been a while since they'd been out as a pair. Halfway through his milkshake, he'd gotten up to play with the jukebox and found a name he was certain he'd seen on Steve's records. As the song started, he sauntered back to the table, bowing playfully in front of Steve. "Want a dance, cutie? Ain't you and Bucky dancing to this sorta of thing back in the day?" He asked with a wink.
Dipping a fry into his milkshake he had glanced up and watched as Elliot slid out of their booth and made his way over to the jukebox. He expected him to pick something he liked and wanted him to listen to but his eyebrows shot up when he heard the first notes of In the Mood by Glenn Miller play.
Tilting his head to the right as he peered up at Elliot from beneath his cap, the smile on his face showing off his dimple. "I would love to," he told him, taking off the hat he always wore when he went out into public and tossing it down onto the table before sliding out. "Bucky actually did more dancing than I ever did," because the times he had gone to the dance hall was when he was still the little guy, and he always ended up standing on the sidelines watching everyone else have a good time.
"It did teach me a few moves." Taking Elliot's hand he led him to a space on the floor that had room enough for them to dance, "Let's see if I can remember how to do this," he faced Elliot and took his other hand in his. "Just follow my lead," he said, hoping Elliot's magic would help him pick up the dance quickly. He stepped to the left then right, a quick step back and then repeat, giving Elliot the time to learn before he started adding twirls, twirling Elliot out and then twirling him back in.
