My boy got a migraine last night and was so sick! He very acutely got a headache while we were out at a baseball game and it got worse as we drove home. We got home he said he thought maybe he was hungry. I made us both some pasta. He took a few bites and said he was getting nauseous. I took it from him and pulled him into my lap. I put on a Disney move and let him fall asleep. When he woke up maybe an hour later he said he wanted to go to bed. I got him up and was leading him back to our bedroom and he told me I felt like throwing up. I got him in bed quickly and grabbed the trash can from the bathroom and let him hold it. He tried to throw up for probably an hour. He would gag and moan but couldn’t get anything up. Finally was able to get some medicine in him and he felt well enough to sleep. I love when my boy gets so nauseous like that though.

Just woke up to the sound of my boy throwing up. We just got back from Mexico and his dad picked up some kind of bacterial infection yesterday and now looks like my boy has it too. Camped out in the bathroom with him hoping he throws up again.

My boy has a migraine right now and is holding his trash can. He just asked me to get him zofran which I was reluctant to do since him throwing up would be awesome. But alas I’m a good caregiver and got it for him anyways. A girl can still hope it doesn’t work though 😉

My boy thinks he has food poisoning. He’s has stomach cramps all day now he’s throwing up. He thinks he’s going to throw up all night. We are camped out in the bathroom together. It will be a long night. Stay tuned.

My boy got a migraine today while we were out running errands. We were going to the store and he got really quiet and said he was starting to get nauseous. I pulled into a Kroger and got out and got him a few energy drinks to see if caffeine would help. He tried to drink a little bit while we sat in the parking lot then he asked if we could go home. We were 20 minutes from home and he asked if I had a bucket for him to hold. I had an empty tidy cats litter container that he put by his feet. When we were maybe 5 minutes from home he picked it up and held it to his chest. He said “I may or may not need this” he held it tight and kept bringing it close to his face while I tried to get us home. He ended up being okay and not throwing up but it was an exciting ride home for sure 🤤

My boy got another migraine last night. We are house sitting for some friends so we are away from home and I didn’t have his normal medicine. There were two different sets of extreme nausea where he thought he was going to throw up. After the first one I thought we were in the clear but then it flared up again and was so much worse. The nausea lasted for hours and he clutched his trash can and wanted to throw up to make the nausea go away. Unfortunately for both of us he wasn’t able to vomit. He was so close at one point. He had gone to the bathroom thinking that would help then asked me to come help him. He sat on the toilet with his trash can clutched in his arms. He had his head buried in the trash and he would gag and spit but he couldn’t get anything up. I took him back to bed and he started to feel better and eventually fell asleep. I thought for sure he was going to throw up but not this not this time. I did get plenty of caretaker time in though.

My boy got a migraine the other day. He always gets extremely nauseous when he gets migraines. He didn’t throw up this time but I did get to sit in bed with him while he clutched a trash can trying not to throw up 🥰
