Stress is one of the major triggers of psychosis in schizophrenic people, so if you know you can’t handle going to school right now or that you can’t work right now, don’t let anyone pressure you or shame you into trying to do it anyways. You might seriously worsen your psychotic symptoms if you put yourself under more stress than you can handle. You know yourself and your limits better than anyone else, and not being able to do what society expects of you does not make you a bad person or a failure.
