Weekends w my nieces & nephews always bring me so much joy. It’s my time to be a kid & be free & crafty. Sometimes he’ll get upset bc I enjoy spending moments with them. But he needs to understand this is how I was raised.

My step-momma showed me & my siblings that crafty side of the world , now it’s something I love to do with my little ones.

Today we tried to make 3 - ingredient sugar cookies. But it ended in a bust. But the day was filled with corn~hole, scootering & a lot of chalk art.

These 2 manifestations are things that re-centers me as a person but as someone who I am striving to become as well.
