I remember first learning that you can cry from any emotion, that emotions are chemical levels in your brain and your body is constantly trying to maintain equilibrium. so if one emotion sky rockets, that chemical becomes flagged and signals the tear duct to open as an exit to release that emotion packaged neatly within a tear. Everything made sense after learning that. That sudden stability of your emotions after crying. How crying is often accompanied by the inability to feel any other emotion in that precise moment. And it is especially beautiful knowing that it is even possible to experience so much beauty or love or happiness that your body literally can’t hold on to all of it. So what I’ve learned is that crying signifies that you are feeling as much as humanely possible and that is living to the fullest extent. So keep feeling and cry often and as much as needed

#I cried at every show I saw in NYC #but especially Waitress #I just was feeling things so deeply in those moments #and having witnessed so much talent felt like such an honor

I just got in a huge argument with my sister about how I'm not responsible enough and how I should be paying for more things and how I need to get my priorities in check because I'm going to New York again. So of course, I have to tell her & my mom that I've been seeing a counselor, mid-argument, which is not how I wanted to tell anyone at all. She was not sympathetic, which I expected, but I had a long day and was clearly irritable all day. Trust me, I know I'm not doing enough but I feel like I'm doing all that I can right now & I'm trying to get my motivation back after it's been gone for a while. And my mom said she is glad that I'm seeing someone but that "we need to talk" soon and I just don't think that is going to be helpful at all.

Things have not been good for me lately and I know they are only going to get worse in the coming months. I'm dealing with one thing that is completely horrible, unfair, and sad and another that makes me incredibly nervous and confused. All I know is that as much as I need to focus on the good things and the things that will make me progress, but I can't get my mind off of the shitty things.

HEY GUYS THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT:

I’ve already been forced to reset my password just now, but I’ve also seen several people on my dash who have basically lost their blogs because they had those blogs tied to defunct e-mail addresses they no longer had access to - and tumblr is giving no option for resetting your password without access to the e-mail they send you

If you haven’t been hit with the password reset yet - and it seems to be rolling out in waves - this would be a really good time to be sure your e-mail preferences are up-to-date in your tumblr account. If you can’t access the reset e-mail when they send it to you, you’re locked out.

Hopefully they’ll fix this or come up with a work-around, but in the meantime, be prepared.
