Neoclassical architecture in Russia always tickles my mind in some strange way. Probably it's the contrast between Latin and Hellenic aesthetics and northern climate. Imitation of Rome existing in a place that is completely out of boundaries of the latin world. Place unimaginable. Tabletop aside the edge of the map. Like some assets hidden behind the textures, hanging in the void.

I saw a very strange leaf on some cereal grass today. It was growing in a small, overgrown ravine by the side of the road. Its top had been bitten off. The odd thing about it, though, was that it had been rapidly rotating around its axis despite there being almost no wind. All the leaves around it were gently swaying at best. When I approached, it suddenly stopped rotating. There was nothing special about it upon closer inspection. Weird.
