I have to say I don't care a whole lot about men "getting to" perform femininity. It's not overly important to me that men can wear makeup and dresses and lingerie or whatever. Those things are products that companies sell and they're used to oppress women. I don't really think a lot of the men performing femininity are doing it for the benefit of women.

Some of y’all act like basic manners, general human decency, and kindness to others is SO MUCH emotional labor. I don’t like that shit.

this age of thinking you don’t owe anyone anything in the name of “protecting your energy” there are many other ways of protecting ur energy without being a total ass to others. yall. do better.

one of the best skills to develop is your ability to hear/read/see something and think ‘no, actually, that’s bullshit,’ regardless of who’s saying it and how much you trust them! you absolutely always have the right to interrogate other people’s views before accepting + assimilating them into your own. one of the worst feelings is realising that you “know” something is good/bad but you realise you have no actual personal understanding to back that up beyond ‘someone i trust said it’s true.’ always think for yourself and reject arguments that you don’t agree with!
