I finally finished reading Will Gompertz's book «What Are You Looking At? 150 Years of Modern Art in the Blink of an Eye»!
I'm very pleased, it's a great read. to anyone who is not tamiliar with art, feel free to take it and read. easy, understandable, interesting, informative 📚
I came across a book called "Exit 8" by the Japanese author Genki Kawamura yesterday. I liked the book's design and photos, which are stylish. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the author's work. What about you? Tell us!
I haven't read much this month. It's sad. How about you?
in general... I get dizzy on the subway, and I can't read on public transportation 😣 how about you?

today, a titanic effort was made not to buy another book about which I know nothing! however, I love this bookstore, an authentic place and is in the basement with a beer bar! like this. if there is a party in the bar, the bookstore can only be accessed by presenting documents.
something new…
I think I have a new ritual. If I go in for coffee, I definitely sit down to read for half an hour 📖
the weather was wonderful today. i was able to enjoy the snow, the sun and read in a coffee shop 🪷

It's been a very difficult winter for me. I don't know why, I don't have the strength to figure it out. because of this, reading comes in waves. sometimes I read a lot, sometimes I take long breaks. but I want to read every day. Are there people here who read regularly all their lives? How are you dealing with this? Do you read all the time, or do you have long breaks of a month or more?
Today I received Marcus Aurelius' book "Meditations" (but in Russian publishers translate as "alone with yourself"). It was recommended to me by the Internet when I asked where it was better to start studying Stoicism. So... I plan to read a little bit every morning over coffee.
Do you have such morning literature?
amazing bookstore, super vibe!
i often wander around bookstores and replenish my list of book purchases. i rarely buy books in physical stores, because it's cheaper on the Internet.
and where do you buy books?
I read this book about 4 years ago... and I've already forgotten everything! the book is all underlined and full of my old notes. now I'm paying attention to completely different words and thoughts.
this book was chosen in the book club (our modest book club with friends), if it wasn't for him, I would hardly have read it again…

The beginning has been made. Now, before going to bed, I read "life in ancient Rome" by Alberto Angelo.
Since childhood, I have been interested in questions of ancient civilizations, dinosaurs, and history. There is no limit to my awe and curiosity! the first pages are already very immersive (I hope the news from this reading will be interesting)
