Energy work is an essential part of witchcraft! Almost everything magical you do will require at least two things: Energy and Intent. The easiest way I can think of to learn how to call upon, utilize, and program energy, is to make an energy ball.
An energy ball is, well, a ball of energy. You form it using your energy, or sometimes the energy of another being, by pushing it into your hands and molding it. You can the program it with an element, mood, or purpose, or you can form the ball out of a specific type of energy (Chakra, sexual, etc.)
How To Make An Energy Ball:
1. Ground and center yourself, take a few deep breaths, clear your mind, and get yourself into a seated position.
2. Hold you palms together, and close your eyes. Feel your hand’s warmth and already existing energy, then imagine a white energy starting to collect between them. I usually pull the energy from my heart chakra, but you can pull it from anywhere or even everywhere.
3. Separate your hand by between 3 to 6 inches and imagine the light forming even further between your palms. Now move your hands in circle-ish type movements like you were forming the energy into a ball of play dough.
4. At this point you should start to feel the energy. It should feel like the opposite sides of magnets pushing each other apart in the form of a ball. Start moving your hands closer together, and then farther apart. expanding the ball, and shrinking it again.
5. When the ball feels like a comfortable size, solidify it. you can do this by imaging more of your energy freezing around the ball.
6. Choose what you would like to program this ball with. You can fill it with anger, joy, love, pain, water, fire, etc. Then imagine the ball being filled with that energy. I usually see it become the color I associate with a specific emotion, or I see it become filled with the element that I choose.
7. You can now put the ball on someone else to fill them with that element, emotion, healing, etc. or you can place the ball on you to reabsorb the energy.
Things like making energy balls can be altered. Play around with it, use different methods of programming, do what ever is the most comfortable for you.
