Sanzu Haruchiyo top 10 moments!
10. Meeting Takemichi after a bunch of years and immediately telling him he smells, the way he did it with the biggest grin too. Looking back this is just a generally funny moment, what a greeting.
9. Trying to tackle yotsuta alone. Ok this wasn't great since I'm pretty sure this just caused more problems and got him kicked out one of the divisions but hey at least he's loyal and trying?
8. Asking Baji for haircare advice, this is just so cute. He really wanted Baji's advice and obviously admired his hair (if only Wakui gave us a proper image of this)
7. His katana skills, it was pretty impressive and made some cool panels when he was swinging his katana around. If only it wasn't against Kakucho, Mucho and Takemichi.
6. Serving looks in bonten, the amount of influence these panels have had on our fandom despite there not even being a lot. Not to mention how many times his scraps line has been repeated. He's just iconic here.
5. Being the 5th division vice captain and seemingly doing his job well. This moment would be higher if it wasn't for how it ended though we can't deny the years of good work Sanzu did put in to help the gang.
4. His pose and bleh at the end, was anyone not extremely happy to see this? Free serotonin.
3. Trying to check up on Shinichiro and trying to save him from the bridge. Sanzu was only a kid going through his own stuff here but still tried to make sure Shinichiro was ok after Mikey's death.
2. Admitting he was wrong during the final fight and trying to warn Takemichi to give up or he would die to Mikey. Obviously Sanzu didn't know there would be another time leap here and without that info he was definitely right to warn Takemichi during this fight and to admit after years that he was wrong.
1. Looking after Senju when they were younger and practically raising her. And doing this all while not getting mad at her when he gets punished on her behalf. Obviously this changes but he still spends years looking out for Senju and trying to make her happy.
