E L L E P I Q U E

I  don’t like  how  thomas  cruelly  treated  Chloe  ;   just  because  she  was  made  from  the concept  of  his  childhood  bully , thus  scraping  everything  out  ,  the  build  up  ,  redemption  arc  made  for her   in  one  episode  and  making  her   a  one-dimensional  character  just  like  everyone  else in MLB.   Thus  creating  unnecessary  hate.

 My  Chloe  will  follow  up  the  steps  where  she  is  ‘ Queen Bee ‘ and  despite  paris knowing her  real  identity,  she  respects ‘  LADY BUG’S  ‘  Choice   of  not  giving  it  to  her   ‘ yet ‘  as  a path  of  continues   redemption  arc  i  made  for  her,   where  she   build  up  and  change  her  personality   to  gain  Lady bug’s  trust  that  she  was  worthy   of  the  said  miraculous.

   In  terms  of  Her  sister   ,  I’m  quite   a bit  confused  of  the  sudden  addition  towards  it,  therefore  i  won’t  be  acknowledging  Zoe’s  existence  ( unless  we  discussed  it  thoroughly ), for  one  i’m  already  done  with  the  obvious   abuse  Chloe  has  to  face  through  with  her  mother,  and  the  mere  fact  that  there’s  a  sister that  was  more  focused  on , than  her  ;  it would  be  a  torture  for  someone  so young and  a child.    Second  she  feels  forced  placed in  the  narrative  if  we  do  it  on my canon divergent  chloe. Don’t  get me wrong  zoe is  good  but  i just  don’t  feel  comfortable  with the  idea of  her  being forced  feed  on my mouth.  

  That  being  said  I will ignore  any  rude  comments  or  horse shit  treatment  chloe  will  have  in  this  blog.  I know Chloe  isn’t  the  best  character  and isn’t  the most  fan fave,  her  actions  are  not  acceptable  no  matter  what  ;  that  is why i’m   trying  to  build  her  up  more  cause  thomas  couldn’t   and give  her  ; the  redemption arc  she really deserve.

          “ they have like … containers to hold the bagged milk after they cut open the top corner. like a jug, i believe. i’ve only seen them when we had tea with that one company head in toronto a couple years back. ” he raises an eyebrow toward chloe, eyebrow raised. 

          “ should i order some bagged milk for us, chloe ? ”

   For  someone  who  had  lived  a life  with silver  spoon - adrien  do  talk  a lot  and  knows  a lot  about commoners  stuff,  she  did  heard  about  the  peculiarity  of  the  food  commoners  eat,  and  as  she  listened  to  him  rumble  about  how  the  ‘ bagged  milk ‘  needs  to be  consumed   she  found  her  mind  go  fly  away  to  think  of  how  to  shut  up  the  male  blond  from  his  spewing  nonsense.

     She  only  averted  back her  gaze  towards  him  when  he  suggested  to  order  some  of those  ‘ peasant  stuff’  and  did  she  stop  from her  tracks  and  pushed  him away from her.

   Raising  a finger  as  she  crinkled  her  nose at  the  thought  of  drinking  milk  on something  so weird  and  low  quality  that  would  probably disorient  her  high quality  standard  taste buds.

Her  words  make  him  flinch  once  more,  he  wasn’t  trying  to  be  a  captain  obvious,  he  was  just  trying  to  help  her  to  understand  that  they  really  and  truly  were  stuck  here,  or  at  least  they  were  being  kept  from  using  the  door.  

❛  I  was  just  saying  …    ❜  His  voice  is  small  as  his  gaze  moves  from  her  and  then  around  the  room,  looking  for  anything  out  of  the  ordinary  because  what  if  there  was  something  they  missed?  what  if  the  room  itself  wasn’t  safe  anymore  and  was  just  a  ticking  timebomb?  Anything  could  happen.

He  looks  back  to  her  and  blinks,  shaking  his  head  at  her  question.  ❛  No  …  I  didn’t  check  them  ..  ❜  Yet  before  he  has  a  chance  to  move  and  check  them  out  himself,  she  was  already  moving  there  herself  and  his  gaze  followed  her,  frowning  when  they  didn’t  budge  either.    

❛  He’s  not  useless  and  he  has  a  name,  Chloe  …  Chat  Noir.  ❜  He  defends  the  feline  hero  after  a  moment  before  swallowing  hard  and  making  his  way  over  to  the  windows,  letting  his  gaze  roam  over  it.  They  didn’t  just  look  closed,  they  looked  well,  stuck.  This  all  made  his  stomach  churn  with  anxiety.  It  felt  wrong.  

❛  What  if  they  don’t  know?  They  can’t  save  us  if  they  don’t  know  …  ❜  He  pulled  out  his  cellphone  and  stared  at  it  for  a  moment,  stared  at  the  way  it  had  no  service.  

He  ignored  her  other  words  as  his  head  snapped  up  to  her  and  he  stared  at  her  for  a  long  moment  before  speaking.  ❛  Do  you  have  any  signal  on  your  phone?  ❜

     Feeding in such emotions  of  extreme worries and anger and sometimes  anxiousness,  had been an evident  reason for  hawkmoth’s  butterflies  to be  attracted,  but  with  her  observing  and keen  eye,  despite  the  obvious  drop  of  nathaniel’s  mood,  chloe  hadn’t  spotted  any  of  those approach.  Which  makes  her  feel  the  comfort  that  they are  indeed  safe.

     Other  than that ;  the  biggest  issue  was  their  situation  stuck  in the room  that  there  is  no certainty  that   it  is  safe  or  not,   or  if lady  bug  or  chat  noir  is  around  fighting  over an akuma  that  could  potentially  find  them.   Her  deep  thoughts  was  disrupted  upon  his comments  on  chat’s  name,   oh---..  if  only  nathaniel  knew  how  useless  he  is  personally,  without  her  help ,  he  would  figure  out  things.   Letting  out  a  snort,  she waved  her  hand  boredly at him.  “ Fine ,  fine  chat noir  his  name  whatever~ “   Chloe  implied  before  going  back  to where  he is.

      Arms crossed  the  blonde lady  listened  on  his  woes  and  anxiety,  her   eyes  narrowing  as  she  herself  wasn’t  quiet  sure  of  their  situation,  and  same  time  she  isn’t  sure ;  how  to  handle....  such  personality  with   a  lot  of  self  consciousness.   She  isn’t like  dupain-cheng  who  can  calm  down  even  the  most  weird  and  anxious  kid  in  their  class,  but she  could  at  least  try...,  perhaps.... she  could   try?   to  lighten  the  mood...  

     With an awkward  and  hesitant  reach  of  a  hand  on  her  classmate’s  shoulder,  chloe  rested  her  hand subtly on  his  shoulder.  

     “ They  will  know --  You of all  people  should  know  how  ladybug  and chatnoir ‘ saves ‘  paris.  So  they  will know -- “  She  stated firmly  before  moving away  from him  as if  what she just did , didn’t  happen and she  swiped  on  her  phone  only  to  see no  signal  on her side  as well.

       Screams of  terror  filled   paris  once again , after  another  person had  been akumatized  by  hawkmoth ;  almost  an  everyday  agenda  for  Chat Noir  and  Lady Bug  and  this  time  Queen  Bee in tow  ;  and  yet  their  number  are  still  in disadvantage,   the  whole  area  of  school  was  in chaos,  rooms  filled  with  students  that  had  turned  into  form  a  statue ;  and  others  are  hiding  to  save  their  life  from being damned.

        And  such  exhaustion  derives  to  her  kwami,  Queen  Bee  has  to  move  back  and  resign  for  a while  ,  to  take  few  moments  of  rest -- although  there’s  no further  need  to hide  her  identiy,  she  still  followed  the  instructions  given  to  her  by  Lady Bug.  Feet  rushing  through  the  empty  hallways  of   Françoise Dupont  as  she  make  a  run from  the  akumatized  victime,    the  blond  heroine,  turned  and  slammed  the  door  open  on  one of the  empty  rooms   ( namely  the boys  locker  room )  ;   where  she  hastily  rushed  in ;   to  only  to  be  greeted  by  a body.

      Colliding  into  it  at  full  speed  causing  her  to yelp  loudly  and  fall unto  top  of  the  person  she had  hit  upon.  Eyes squinting in  pain as  the  last  of  the  minutes  given  to her  by  kwami  to  maintain  into  her  super  hero  form  ended.

       And  with  a  bright  flush  of  yellow  light,  Chloe  opened  eyes  gently  before  panicking  to  look at  her  kwami  who  probably  had  received  damage  upon  the  strong impact.  

      So i finally  watched  this two episode  i’m a bit  apprehensive  to watch.  So first things  first, Zoe  as  a  whole  character  is  nice , she  had  potential  to  be  a permanent  character  that would  influence  chloe  to  be  a  nice  character  ;  however  i’m  still  bit  questionable  if  her character is there to do  good  or  she is going to be  another lila.

     First  we  don’t  know the  main reason  why  ‘ Zoe ‘ came into  paris,  there’s  limited information why  she  had  come to paris other than info that she was  being bullied at  school  ( or  is  she  ? )  ,  her  main reason is  out  of  the  narrative  thus  making me  feel  super  sus  to  her ;  if  her  main goal  is  to be  with  a  family  who  treats  her  way  shitter  than her  father in new york why go in the paris  in the first  place?  ( unless  there’s  a motive  behind it  or  Thomas  is just  full on douchebag  and want to kick out  chloe out  of narrative ).

   Second  point  her  personality  is  all  over  messy.  At  the  first  part  of solecrusher, when she first  meet  marinette, her personality  screams  confidence  and friendliness, but then we diverted  to the part where she is around her parents, and she changes her personality, then it went to  the  episode of Queen Banana, her personality  once again had changed  into timid  and  shy ,  making me really so confused.

    Her  ability  to change  personality  can  be due  to  the  fact  that  she loves  acting  that  she  is  acting  almost  everyday  that she doesn’t  know herself ,  thus  making  me  over read to it  but  still her  ability  to fool someone  even chloe  ;  can almost  match  lila’s  ability  to lie. 

  Thus  making me  think  and  assume that  this  ability  for  him to  change personality  and lie, was the first reason why  she leaves  New York in the first place.

   Cause there  is  a question that bubbles in me..  why are  you  lying  in a  home  that you don’t need to lie in the first  place? Unless you  started  out the lie  to  fit in and leave  before you can even be discovered.
