First drawing of 2024‼️ 🥳
This coloring/drawing style is just ripped from like one of my favorite Courtney's (wuntrum on here) drawings!! I didn't at ALL come close to capturing it. Need to either draw smaller or have my brushes bigger. And tbf I don't think I picked the best time to try it outfit wise. But oh well, I still really liked how this turned out, regardless!!
I really tried to let myself stay loose, even a little wonky (though her nose is still a lil too wonky, I may tweak it lol)! And I am really happy with it!!

These may change as I figure out them a lil more. Especially Huey's, his sign isn't the most fit, but I like a couple of things and not everyone really matches their sign to a tee (I know I dont)! But very fun! :D I love having birthdays picked out!!

When you're brushing your teeth and realize Frances' mom definitely knows Spaniard Spanish so there is a good chance that's what her girls know.
I cannot accept this. Allain sisters being from Cali save me.....🤞🤞 maybe their tutor taught them the right one. But I doubt it 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Still working out the details, and what exactly what I want. Frances works in a newsroom. Unsure if it'll be TV news or of a newspaper. Unsure what she'll specifically be doing. She isn't a journalist, but she is doing something there.
She likes the job because she still feels she's able to help somehow. Even if it's supporting other people to get their stories out and to the world. She's happy to be a part of the ecosystem.
I love how I already have figured out, more or less, what Pilar listens to, some work on her vibe, but STILL NO APPEARANCE. ITS KILLING MEEEEEE.
I need to start just throwing stuff on the page and working with what I have. Because I have ideas, but I implemented none yet!!! I need to do that!!!!!!!!! Because I want to gush and work on her more.

She came back to NB after leaving state to go to college. She doesn't have a serious job yet. So she is working back at the record store until she gets a job she wants :)
She knows Lincoln and Ellis, but it's definitely a casual thing. Same school, so may have worked or talked some, but nothing too wild. (Though maybe that's being a lil modest; but that's just what they have said.) She went back to the Hollow for every summer break in college, and was definitely sad to find out Lincoln left for a couple of reasons. Though she's happy he's back. They don't get to talk too much before everything happens. But some talks here and there in those 2 weeks. Idk still figuring a lot out. But gahhhh she's been on my mind a lot! :")
Also name wise, the sisters are getting different middle names ^-^
As cute of the flipped names thing was, it was only done because I liked how 'Mary Allen' sounded. And at the time, Frances had only an unnamed sibiling, if that. And when it came time to name her sister, I couldn't think of anything and just picked Mary! So it was just rather unoriginal, some may say a lil cheesy. But it was cute while it lasted!
But I will keep them having middle names as that is common for French ppl (lol saying this like that's not a thing here, even though it def is sksksksksk). So it'll be fun to give them a unique middle name actually! It doesn't matter much because I rarely ever mention their middle names anyways. But it's like one of those details that is more for you than, anything, teehee.
But like if I am being honest, how attached am I RLLY to Allen? It quite literally was a random last name that I just happened to like how Frances sounded before it. Like it has nothing special to it. At least with other last names, I come up with the first and last together, so it at least sounds nice next to one another.
If it was Allain instead, it at least would give her a little more to her name and some background info, not much, but it'd say that they're French, lol. Which was really not even a planned thing for her yet when the last name was picked. Much like a lot of Frank stuff, it kinda just fluidly happened as Stevie and I talked abt things, aha.

Sudden urge to slightly tweak the Allens' last name....but I just cannot commit. This urge will pass..... it would be a MINOR change, but it'd change everything so idk 😭😭 too attached to Allen now I suppose, aha
When Mary and Eugene started spending more time together, especially on the weekends, it still was a bit of a travel. Mary decided when she is going to be out for a while, she shouldn't leave Frances in the house that far away. Maybe she may loosen up a little if she is at a friends house, but for the first year, especially, she is (at least tries to be) overly cautious. She doesn't want anything to happen to her. She isn't perfect at watching Frances, but this felt like the smart thing to do. Frances does not mind when it means meeting up in NYC. She'll love spending time there, she doesn't mind at all. Even if it's the longer trip, it's worth it to her. But when they just go to New Haven? What can Frances even do there? She can't hang out with her friends, she's bored, it's no fun! Sure, Eugene is nice and all, and she likes him, but she knows they want to spend time together. Mary let's her explore the area, but there really isn't too much for Frances. She'll maybe check out a museum or two, but she really wishes she could be hanging out with her friends aha.
