Anyway I'm Getting There™ with the first 10 boyz from the Armageddon box.

Kitbashing a new Ork Trukk in the style of the previewed new release.

Tonight I kitbashed some Tankbustas from the spares in the Wrecka Krew box, and some bodies from the combat patrol monopose Boyz

Behold! A Mek! I decided the best way to get through the looming spectre of my ork backlog (totally different to my tyranid backlog, or my sororitas, or my turnip28 &c &c &c), was to pick a 1k list and get that painted.

My brother came up to drop off the Ork half of the Armageddon box. Today we played a 1k game of 11th at Element Games (I whiffed some crucial charges and lost on points), tomorrow we're off to the warboot in Sheldon.

Deffkoptas! All done! And boy were these an absolute nightmare to paint during a five-day, 30°+ heatwave

11th Edition Orks, seen at the UK Games Expo today

I tripped and fell into the 15mm napoleonics hole. These are supposed to be painted as 1st Regiment of Foot Guards, but I'm not super experienced with this era (it's limited to Sharpe, mostly).

I've only gone and bloody done it, finished my toff for my new Slug's Lament cult! Most of this is from this year's wh+ miniature, The Summons (I took one of the skellies out, snipped the necromancer off the grave, and built up a place for Naps to stand out of green stuff). Zombie Napoleon is from Eureka Miniatures. I made a flagpole out of toothpicks and the flag out of the tube tomato puree comes in.
