anyways i went on a date with this really awesome guy i'm seeing again tomorrow. it's such a coincidence because he's the first and only date i ever went on three years prior. we have a lot of similar interests, he's taller than me, is in school + has a job. and he's so fucking fine... yay for me! i'm having fun again :)

my ex sent me an entire letter expressing his rage — a complete 180 — in response to a text i sent two weeks post-breakup saying how i actually didn't want to be friends in the future, be in contact ever again, and to not reply to my message... so now i'm questioning my sanity!

one of my greatest character flaws is always liking the idea of things more than the actual experience. i have such lofty expectations and always end up disappointed. can't i just enjoy things as they are rather than romanticize it all before and feel a crushing emptiness after?
