so the new Harry Potter trailer dropped and I’m so pissed off because people who claim to be allies of trans people are promoting the new show and it’s genuinely disgusting. I loved Harry Potter as a child but my affection for a book/movie series is never going to mean more than trans people’s lives. Any money JK Rowling makes from this series is going to be used to harm trans people. You cannot claim to be an ally to trans people and support this show. Also the show looks absolutely terrible.

contrapoints is being so fucking annoying on twitter she’s basically scolding everyone who didn’t vote for kamala and being like “when’s the revolution going to happen, I’ve heard it’s any minute now” like shut the fuck up!!!!!! The president of the United States threatened to genocide Iran and you’re scolding the left??? Like the president is a nazi and you’re scolding the people who have no power??? Like sorry people didn’t want to vote for Kamala’s genocidal ass, but it’s not the lefts fault she didn’t get elected, it’s her fault for choosing to keep funding a genocide over defeating Trump! so Contrapoints is genuinely deranged on twitter, Trump said we might go to war with Cuba next and Natalie tweeted “source tells me the leftist influencers got out in time” taking an obvious dig at the convoy of American leftists who went to break the siege and deliver aid to Cuba, and when someone asked her what she’d done to help Cuba she said she voted for Kamala Harris, who supposedly wouldn’t go to war with Cuba, and when someone said that was the bare minimum she responded by saying that what she did was the strongest form of support because whoever is president determines whether or not we go to war. Like I don’t even know where to start, she’s shitting on people who ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING to help Cubans, while patting herself on the back for voting for a fucking warmonger like Kamala Harris. Like maybe Kamala wouldn’t have gone to war with Cuba, but she would have continued the blockade on Cuba which has starved and murdered Cuban people. I just think shutting on the left at this time is disgusting. Like I would have obviously have preferred Kamala over Trump, but I don’t blame people who didn’t want to vote for a war criminal who played a major role in facilitating a genocide. At the end of the day it’s Kamala’s fault she lost and I think pointing the finger at the tiny margin of people who voted for Jill Stein or Cornel West or Claudia De La Cruz because they supported a genuinely progressive candidate instead of the massive number of people who voted for Trump is insane. And I’m so fucking pissed at Natalie for shitting on the people who sailed to Cuba, AT LEAST THEY FUCKING DID SOMETHING. It’s just so shitty to sit around taking potshots at people who are actually doing something to help starving people while you sit at home doing nothing but bitching about leftist on twitter. Honestly I’m embarrassed I ever liked her, in retrospect there were a lot of signs that she was shitty and centrist, but I didn’t recognize them until her response to the genocide in Palestine.
