What a journey! My dogs have finally left Switzerland and have arrived at Dubai airport. They will spend the night there before they head out to Auckland, NZ. So far, they’re doing great. They said “no news is good news”. I can’t thank enough the people that looked out after our dogs! It has been over 40 hours since we left Switzerland, but we couldn’t get to New Zealand due to the torrential rains. Apparently, Auckland airport is flooded. So we’re stuck in Adelaide. But I have to say, the Australian Border Security and airport personnel were very kind and patient. Qatar Airways has provided accommodation and morning breakfast for us. Who knows when we fly out 🤷🏻‍♀️.
