"Honestly, too true. I know you all are a criminal organization, but would hiring a cleaning crew kill you? Just hide all the drugs and guns," she waved her hand as if it were simple as that. "Beaumont--" again, she had no clue if that was even his full name "--Sinclair, you're...A little shit. I hope you know that." She really couldn't think of anything better, nor could she really defend herself, that son of a bitch had hit her nail right on the head. "But seein' as we're practically in the same boat, I'll give you a pass this once." Nellie had seen the way he looked at that Donovan girl, and a drunken wink was given in an attempt o let him know that she knew, regardless of how unclear she was being.

Beau couldn't help the snort of laughter at the fictional first name she pulled out of nowhere for him, though the smile faltered ever so slightly at her next comment, the wink all but solidifying that he hadn't been nearly as careful as he'd tried to be over the years of making sure his feelings for his ex hadn't been obvious to everyone. "Well, only one of us doesn't have any luck of changing that outcome," he remarked with a shake of his head, setting aside the glass he'd been cleaning. "She's with Mal now, so... trying to be a good sport about it as long as she's happy. Pretty sure uncle Dev's been single most of his life."

Beau had promised he'd grab some ice cream to restock the freezer at the clubhouse, but it seemed like everyone else in Tonopah had the same idea. He joined the abnormally long line, resigning himself to scrolling on his phone in the meantime until the ruckus picked up at the front of the line. He hadn't caught everything, but he saw the end result and his laughter sputtered out of him, forcing him to cover his mouth with his hand to keep from drawing attention to himself. His laughter grew at the puns the woman beside him whispered. "I'm with you; seems to me like they should get straight to the pint and call it quits," he snickered under his breath. "Or maybe eating their ice cream'll help rum raisin their spirits." He furrowed his brows. "Okay, that one's not good. Who even eats rum raisin these days?"

"Branch out a bit, get a donkey, I heard they're loyal as dogs. Make it the club's mascot." She was really gone now, any attempt at wit having left with the last drink, "Then I can call you guys a bunch of asses and it won't even be mean," she pouted as if she were begging. "I think I should start one, then you can call your uncle to come pick me up," Eyebrows were waggled suggestively. "S'too late too leave now, I'm in too deep, missed the littles too much."

"You want the clubhouse to smell even more like shit than it does on a daily basis? Think we got that covered on our own." Beau laughed, quietly hoping the idea hadn't been suggested to Theo so he wouldn't get any new ideas. Having to return Ralph to the Tonopah Zoo was a big enough ordeal in itself. Beau raised a brow at the mention of his uncle, curiosity piqued. "You don't have to pick a fight to get him to do that, y'know. Could just give him a call and say you need a ride home," he offered, watching her carefully. "Unless that's coming too close to admitting you like the guy and want to spend time with him."

"Are you surprised? It's like twelve million degrees out. I'm surprised there haven't been more people passing out from heatstroke," he replied with a laugh of his own, taking the fries with a quick thanks. "Yeah, I think needed this, honestly. Been a weird couple of weeks, so now I can just dance to fun music and drink with my buds. Helps get my mind off shit." He glanced at him. "What about you? Seems like you've been kind of out of it lately."

"Dude, I'm not gonna lie, I think I'm drunk," Will admitted lowly to Beau as they sat on one of the couches in the VIP tent. It had been an amazing time watching his boys enjoy the space and indulge themselves for a night instead of worrying about the never ending impending doom that seemed to present itself all of the time. "Like actually drunk, I can't even remember the last time I was actually this drunk. I'm afraid of standing up. Wait, I'm sitting down right now, right?" @beauaustinsinclair

Beau was having the time of his life enjoying the music from the VIP tent with his brothers. The only thing that could've made it better was if his dad was there, knowing he'd have outdanced them all. "I don't think I've seen you drunk in a while. Does that mean you're loosening up or you're a lightweight now?" Beau teased with a chuckle and a slight nudge of Will's arm. "Yeah, you're good. Maybe wait a few minutes for someone to come walking by and they can help you up so you won't wobble as much."

"I won't say no to another one." Taking the bottle from Theo, he popped the top off with the bottle opener he had on his keyring and took a swig. "Oh, for sure. I fully expect you to be dancing to every single song and I'll be disappointed if you don't."

Beau couldn't help the snort that left him at Aiden's question. He'd been drinking like everyone else, but he hadn't had nearly enough to make any sort of bad decisions like bets. "I hope for their sakes that they do because otherwise all these fangirls are gonna raise hell with Logan and Emiri leading the charge," he laughed, reaching over to take a fry for himself. "I don't think they'd have announced them if they weren't absolutely positive they were gonna be here. The last thing we need in town is a stampede of upset fans."

"I mean, it's definitely crazy. You remember a couple years back with that country music festival in Vegas and what happened there?" he asked, shaking his head. "They're just asking for there to be someone else hurt with this sort of thing. But until that point, I'm going to dance my little ass off to some pop music."

The night was buzzing with the usual crowd and Beau was laughing as he watched the group of drunken patched members betting on who could last longer on the mechanical bull while smashed. A woman's voice caught his attention, and he glanced over to see Hayden, someone who had come in a few times before and he'd had the chance to strike up a conversation or two. He knew she was law enforcement, but he insisted that alliances ended before crossing the threshold into The Outpost. "Coming right up." he asked, grabbing a glass and making his way over to the tap. "You want dark or light today?"

"Both of my parents went, I thought it would be sweet but honestly, I wish I had gone abroad or something. Or done Berkeley or shit, something in Massachusetts," she admitted. She regretted doing anything for the sake of her parents, especially her father. As much as she loved her mother, even she had never asked for Valentina to follow her path and there was so much Val knew more about now. She'd do it all differently if she could. "Ah following in your father's footsteps. I know a thing about that. Funny though, how they live such big and chaotic footsteps," she added and reached for her glass. She didn't mean to presume anything about his father but she had heard a few things. "It never does pan out, does it? I think that's all part of life. Part of growing up. God, imagine having the same partner since high school? Sounds like torture to me. Very limiting. Two sisters? Oh we should definitely be pouring you more wine," she teased and nudged his glass towards him. "I have a younger brother which is annoying and testing but overall worth it. He's such a knucklehead but he's ours so, I have to make sure he's taken care of." She laughed at his words and shook her head. "True crime? No, not really my thing. Close though. I write more mystery and spy novels. Though I'm venturing more into historical fiction, maybe a bit of science fiction. I've been really into the idea of time travel lately. I might play around with that for my next book. It's very sexy."

"They always say hindsight 20/20," he replied with a sympathetic smile. He understood the idea of regretting past decisions; he had plenty he regretted as well. "You're probably right, but I gotta admit, there's also something romantic to me about finding your person so early on. Maybe it's just because that's what happened with my parents, so I grew up with that as the norm." He chuckled. Realistically he knew he should have moved on by now, but it was hard to forget about the first person you loved. "Interesting. Do authors usually switch genres like that or is that out of the norm? I gotta admit I'm not a big reader these days, but I used to read more when I was still in school. I should probably get back into it... Do you have one of yours you recommend as a starting point?"

Nellie noted the face and she couldn't help but laugh, "Oh, baby boy,". She knew some saw the sirens as unsavory, but as long as they weren't being forced to be there, she saw nothing wrong with it. They were all there looking for something. "Oh, you two must make the cutest parents. Y'all gonna have empty nest syndrome when he eventually leaves the nest at 40?" She gave a snort in return, the image she was conjuring in her mind too funny not to. "Nate's got good security, so no one yet, but here's hoping," she raised her glass before finishing it off. "It's been awhile since I've had a good bar fight," she said as she raised her arms above her in a clumsy stretch, starting to feel the affects of her many drinks even more now.

"Yeah, probably. We'll just get like a couple of dogs or cats, depending on what Will wants, of course. I aim to please." He chuckled, shaking his head. "Well, as long as you don't start one here, I think we'll be good. Glad to hear the job's going well. Means you're getting settled in town more too, right? Think you're gonna stay for a while?"

A sigh escaped her lips before she took a deep breath. "Just so you know, I'm dating Malcolm," she blurted out, deciding it was best to rip the band-aid off. Logan didn't think it would matter much; she had dated here and there since she had broken up with Beau - but nothing serious. But Malcolm and Beau both wore the reaper, so she figured honesty was the best policy. "And I don't want things to be weird, okay? I just thought I'd tell you so you didn't find out some other way."

Beau stopped what he was doing at Logan's announcement, turning his attention to her. He didn't know why the news hit him the way it did. They hadn't been together for years now, so it wasn't a surprise she was dating other people. Maybe it was because this one hit closer to home being a fellow Son, someone who was meant to have his back and vice versa. He had to remind himself that Malcolm was new in town, so it was unlikely he knew about Beau's past with Logan.
