Name: Felicity 'Fliss' Sloane Age: 32 Birthday: Gender & Pronouns: cis woman, she/her Time in Tonopah Valley: One month Occupation: Freelance journalist Gang Affiliation & Rank: neutral Neighborhood: Downtown
Family:-
Father: Mother: Siblings: Extended family:
Personality:-
Zodiac: Leo sun, Gemini moon, Sagittarius rising
Grew up as the middle of three where both her siblings who always seemed to know what they wanted to do with their lives and spent most of her childhood trying to figure out how they could be so sure so soon.
Originally from Oregon but the family moved to Austin when she was eleven when her father got a new job. Fliss loved the change and it allowed her to be closer to her grandmother.
Pretty directionless as a teen ( and an adult tbh ) but caused no issues and just did her best. Started a blog at sixteen as a way to get out all the teenage angst that her v middle class upbringing brought her *eyeroll*.
Chose not to go to college, instead getting a job and helping her grandmother as her health worsened. It's not something she regrets, glad for the extra years she managed to get with the older woman.
Years passed and even after her grandmother's death she had no idea what she wanted to do with her life. She spent her inheritance on a van which she did up to travel across the country.
Her blog continued but gained a new audience as she wrote about her travels, surprising her with how many people seemed to want to hear about her experiences and that maybe she had some kind of talent after all.
Once she grew tired of the more nomadic lifestyle she looked for a job back home, finding a job at a small newspaper and beginning to write fluff pieces, which she did well. She began to get assignments around the country, reporting on all manner of competitions and fairs.
Feels as though she should be trying to progress her career ( does she really want to? shockingly, she does not know ) and so has looked for ways to write more serious pieces. Tonopah drew her in and so she's been in town for a month somewhat attempting to get a big scoop. Mostly just vibing though tbh.
