About:
Paige Sullivan wasn't ready to raise a child alone, but she powered through with determination and grit. She was an artist, and strongly driven by helping the community.
She never said a bad word about Beau's father, but he has distinct memories of fleeting visits which eventually stopped altogether.
For the first 13 years of his life, Beau lived in Denver, Colorado in a small apartment. His bed was just a pull out couch in the living room and he learned the importance of being appreciative for the little things in life.
Then, he and his mother uprooted their life to move to Paige's hometown of Lockwood Springs. Looking back, Beau realizes it's because his mother needed the extra support from his grandmother. The three of them lived together in her small country home just on the outskirts of the town, and being immersed in the outdoors felt like an adventure to young Beau.
Starting a new school and making new friends didn't worry him. He blended in easily and was always happy to be sociable and friendly. Over the years he earned the nickname Sully, which locals refer to him as still.
He enjoyed sports and excelled at them, enough for there to be talk of potential scholarships for college. However, he already made his mind up on his future. Sully enjoyed helping others, and after seeing and hearing about the devastating effects of fires, wanted to be able to do his part for the community.
At first his grandmother and mother pleaded with him to not miss out on college, but playing football didn't excite Sully at all. In fact, the prospect of being a big time player made him laugh.
After graduating, Sully took all the necessary steps to become a firefighter. He did two academies and then aced his department tests, earning himself a spot within the crew that help save lives.
Sully is an all american guy and values family and community above all else. He feels as if he was always supposed to live in Lockwood Springs.
Due to seeing changes of the town that he doesn't believe are in the best interest of the people, Sully became interested in joining The Keepers. He doesn't want to climb any ranks, he's simply happy to be a member and be called upon if needed.
Sully now lives alone in an apartment Downtown but he frequently visits his grandmother and mother in the outskirts. A lot of his free time is spent in the outdoors, and he jokes that he pays rent for a glorified hotel room.
Sully has a dry sense of humor and enjoys sarcasm and quick wit.
Being an only child, Sully is used to getting his own way a lot and can sometimes seem jealous or selfish.
He talks directly, and can come across as abrupt or abrasive but usually this is just because of his tone and not intention.
Doesn't enjoy flashy materialism, and regularly donates to charities.
