Artwork for our new song.
Here some of the dafts, including the one we actually used.
The song is based on true events, a story of a hooker who wanted to quit but just couldnβt. A sad story, but also a kind of love song. In fact almost the only love song we did so far.
What should itβs cover look like? Itβs always a challenge to find something that fits and works at the same time. It may sounds weird, but the best picture isnβt always the best choice.Β
First of all, it has to look good even in the smallest-or biggest-sice.Β Than you should be able to read the title. Itβs really that simple.
In this case, our first idea was to take something authentic, real photographs of hookers, red light districts, stuff like that. But we soon discovered that the whole thing would become way toΒ βsexyβ.
The solution was to use something that shows the milieu without getting too edgy. Toulous-Lautrec was the perfect choice.
