College student Ringo decides to give his mother a call, but due to a glitch in the cosmic switchboard, his dialed numbers patch him through to an ethereal, echoing voice informing him that he has reached the "Heavenly Relief Hotline" and that an agent is being dispatched immediately. Assuming it’s an elaborate prank, Ringo laughs it off—right until a strikingly handsome, bewildered man materializes out of thin air.
Introducing himself as George, the man nervously explains that he is a junior wish-granting deity. This is his very first solo assignment, and his job performance review depends entirely on making Ringo’s wish a success. Still convinced it’s a joke, Ringo jokingly wishes that "a guy like you would stay with me forever".
To his shock, the strange, glowing sigil on George’s forehead flares with blinding light, shooting a brilliant beam straight through the dorm ceiling. When the light fades, George tells Ringo that his wish was granted and that the two of them must now stay together forever.
Within twenty-four hours, the chaotic supernatural energy surrounding George gets them both permanently evicted from the campus dorms. With nowhere else to go, the mismatched pair wander the city until they stumble upon a decrepit, abandoned recording studio. The eccentric owner agrees to let them stay indefinitely—rent-free—on one condition: they have to get the place fixed up and running again again, a task made much, much easier with George's powers. As they spend their days elbow-deep in drywall, vintage mixing boards, and minor miracles, Ringo and George’s forced cohabitation shifts from a stressful nuisance into something much warmer. Something...romantic.
But just as Ringo and George settle into a tentative peace, their living arrangement implodes when George’s three older siblings (two brothers and one sister) drop in unannounced and promptly move into the studio's loft. Between dodging angelic bureaucracy, hiding the divine nature of his new housemates, and making it to class on time, Ringo’s mundane college life is entirely upended.
Yet, amidst the noise, late-night jam sessions, and celestial interference, George and Ringo slowly stop thinking of their eternal bond as a curse. What started as a joke dialed into the ether slowly transforms into a genuine, deeply romantic partnership—proving that sometimes, the wrong number can lead you to exactly where you're supposed to be.
