We have all night to ourselves. We start the night of with the instruments on my chest and your head on your pillow, just listening end enjoying. You opted for the doppler, steth combo tonight. Slowly feeling yourself calm down as you listen to the symphonie of the doppler and the steth, covering all the sounds of my heart while it does what it does best.

We have a new toy! Coming home from work we immediately head to the bedroom to try it. You move the probe around my chest looking for the best spots to hear the valves flutter around as I do a short breathhold every now and then. Heartbeats under stress! Listen to my heart as I try to beat (and fail) a bossfight. In these situations my heart doesnt get very fast, but it just beats HARDER. Halfway through the video, every beat felt like a punch in the chest. My heartmuscle stretching out as much as it can to fill up to max capacity before forcefully pumping it all out, forcing so much volume through my arteries that it feels like a punch from inside. I love it :)

Just before the holiday crazyness will begin we both took a day off work. And you know what that means: endless stething! As I listen to your heart beating happily, you listen to mine. You instruct me to move the stethoscope around my chest. Which spot did you like best? Do you need another few more minutes of listening to decide? Or maybe a few more hours?

You wake up by a gentle nudge to your schoulder. Sleepily you accept the earpieces of the stethoscope and are transported to the world of my heart. With every beat you feel more relaxed as we do a little tour around my heart. At some point you start dozing off again, drifting back to a most perfect sleep
