She grinned and blushed at his thoughtfulness. “That sounds wonderful. Thank you. But, I do confess…. I remember that slightly differently…… I thought it was I who found you at Lake Luthias?” She let her mount pick its own footing as it followed Blackwall’s down to the site he’d chosen.
He chuckled, sliding down from his horse as they stopped beside the campsite, leading his mount to the stream for a drink, “You did, I just went with the flow, as it were. I can try and be romantic sometimes! Granted, it often falls short, but...”
Blackwall shrugged, chuckling at himself.
