okay listen i know everyone's talked about hamilton to death and i love everyone in that cast, but... can i just talk about oak??? and the absolutely drastic change between his two characters??? like yes all the double roles are all so iconic, but (for the most part) they all have kind of the same character to base their acting off of (except peggy v.s. maria). then you've got okieriete onaodowan, who plays hercules "gentle giant who's stealing canons and spying on the british government" mulligan v.s. james "his stare could melt glaciers but he couldn't give a public speech if it could save his frail, sickly life" madison. the difference definitely isn't easy for any actor, even one for broadway, but oak manages to do it, and it's part of the reason why mulligan + jmads are my favorite characters. heck, the way oak presents himself as either character (how much he moves around, his expressions, even his voice) always tricks my mind every single time into thinking there's a physical difference between the two. it's just friggin incredible. i always look forward to seeing him whenever i watch hamilton. stan okieriete onaodowan for clear skin.

listen, i LOVE pokémon. i'm a new fan, but i'm still obsessed. but my god, there's officially been no bigger disappointment in my life than gordie, the rock-type gym leader in s&s. why, you ask? he could've had so many rock puns, and they threw away every single shot. like, seriously? "let's get this over with" instead of "let's rock and roll?" no "looks like i've hit rock bottom" whenever he loses? not a single "i'm here to rock the house?" not one "that's it, no more mr 'gneiss' guy" before dynamaxing or "sorry i took you for 'granite?'" when getting your gym badge? not even a "here's my league card, contact me if you're ever caught between a rock and a hard place?" disappointment at its finest.
