I wish I could’ve just stayed in bed

As I sat with this weapon become monument to a war long ceased, I was overcome with an incredible sense of loneliness. I felt like this cannon, once full of purpose and fire, now sitting in the darkness watching the lights of a community that doesn’t even know it still exists sparkling below.

I’ve been watching brain rot YouTube videos and I feel myself getting dumber.

Yeah my office is cluttered, but it's been a long few days at work making sure the puppos get food and treats.
