Since October 29, Spain has been going through one of the worst flash floods of this century. The Community of Valencia has been the most affected, but the cold drop also passed through the south-west and is moving now to the north-east.
So far, 211 bodies have been found, and more than 2000 people are still missing. Most fatalities are from Valencia, entire towns are ravaged and isolated as they don't have electricity and the roads have been destroyed. A lot of people has lost their home, more than 15k homes don't have eletricity and they are in need of food, water and hygienic products
The reason Valencia was the most affected is because, despite given a warning 5 days before from the AEMET (Spain's official meteorological agency) of the possible mass floodings due to the cold drop, and the same morning of the catastrophe, it's authorities didn't warn it's people. Valencia's government waited 12h after the last warning from the AEMET (and it's president even said it would subside 2h before the floodings) before declaring the red alert, at 8pm. By then, many people was already caught in the flood while going or coming back from work.
Although politicians must be accountable, our priority is to help those in need, most which have lost their house, belongings and means to live. Because of this, here are some fundraisers and non-profits you can donate to help both people and animals that have been affected (these are from the thread I've just posted, but I'll add more if I find them!):
Horta Sud is a county in Valencia that has been the most affected by the floodings. People are leaving their houses because they're scared of the infrastructure getting damaged and even walking by foot to Valencia capital to get food.

hey so probably not a lot of you are aware of what's going on in Valencia (Spain) right now , and we're going through some really bad meteorological conditions (know as DANA) which paired with the government's late actions have caused A LOT of people to be victims of floods.
as of now, around 160 people have been declared dead and there are uncountable missing people. the situation is critical, many people from the municipalities around Valencia (paiporta, alfafar, sedavΓ, xiva, benetusser, catarroja, silla, la torre... and more) don't have running water or electricity. hundreds of animals are being transported however possible since shelters have been destroyed. people are starving unable to drink water, and incommunicated. everyone around here is trying to help, but for now, the accesses are cut and we can't go physically help them, we can only donate things they need.

In my previous post I shared a sneak peak of the most recent fanarts I've been working on. As some of you guessed, the fandom is Kingdom Hearts! Specifically, I wanted to draw KH fanart wich included the Disney characters, something that apparently is uncommon within the fandom for some reason...?Initially It was suposed to be my inktober proyect, but as always I couldn't keep a consistent schedulle due to my job π In the end I decided to take It easy and just get used to drawing again
So here's the first fanart of my Kingdom Hearts series! With the original trio Sora, Donald and Goofy in the beginning of KH 2. Goofy is commenting on the fact that Sora is almost as tall as he is, while Sora mocks Donald for being a shortie. Naturally Donald is not amused π

Sixth drawing of my KH challenge! A redraw of the ending of KH2, when the Trinitry Trio reunites... one of the most emotional moments in the saga and a personal favorite for me (aren't they cute??)
To be fair, it's not an exact redraw, since I made Donald and Goofy a bit more proportional to Sora (It always bothered me that in the original CGI the Disney characters heads are so disproportionally BIG!) ... also, once again I can't draw backgrounds to save my life XD

Why is Goofy angry at the other two? Is It because they fought again for who should drive the gummi and subsecuently crash-landed in another world? Did they do something potentially dangerous that almost ended in one or all of them dying? Or did they eat the last hot-dog in the fridge? I'll leave that to your imagination
Contrary to Donald, Goofy is the kind if guy who becomes more silent and passive-agresive when he gets mad. As my sister commented when I showed her this fanart; 'If Goofy gets mad at you, It means you really messed up, Big time'

A mad Sora is a very rare sight. The few times he manifest his anger, It ussually comes from a place of worry, anxiety or both. If there's heartless or nobodies around, at least that anger can be redirected. If not... Sadly, Donald and Goofy become the victims of his hurtfull words.
Everytime Sora snaps at them, it leaves them worried. Because they know he is hurting and there's nothing they can do... Just wait and stay by his side no matter what.

Donald and Goofy aren't the only Disney characters I've drawn for my KH challenge, Jiminy dresserves some love too! After all, he's the one in charge of writting the chronicle of Sora's aventures. Thus, my fifth drawing is centered on both of them
