Nothing sucks more on this hellsite then finding an awesome poster who's a transfemimist and talks about the struggles transfems face beyond the view of cis people and then immediately finding out they actually have a violent hatred towards transmascs

I can't lie I might've used it wrong, I'm not really interested in arguing so I'll just admit I probably made a mistake. I worded it that way cuz I've seen people use it as a substitute for transmasc instead of its actual meaning. I've seen alot of people say it under transmascs just posting about their identity. But yeah I probably fucked up the wording. Also transmascs are still oppressed, even though we don't experience transmisogyny we experience transphobia, ableism, racial discrimination etc. Transmascs do not have cis male privelige, we are still minorities. Saying that doesn't negate the specific oppression the transfem community faces, multiple issues can exist at once

Not to be a total loser on main but this pride I have felt very shitty. There's a lot of hate against transmascs on this app and I could go into that at length but something that makes me feel even worse is people saying its just a thing that happens on the web. I wish it was, I do, but its not. Being invisible in medical systems, fearing being raped or being assaulted for even thinking of using male facilities. Fearing pregnancy and no proper gyno care. I could go on. Queer people who hate trans men exist in the real world too, and even if it was just on the internet, seeing people wish death on you for existing still doesn't feel great. This isnt a pity post, please don't take it that way. But it weighs heavy on me not feeling welcome in the queer community, when I'm already not welcome in larger society. ALSO. DO NOT attack transfems over this, they are not our enemy. if a transandrophobe happens to be a transfem that does not give you permission to be trans mysoginstic. I love my transfem sisters.

I might turn off reblogs on this post and my other one on anti transmasculinity, I don't wanna argue with people who already have their opinion made up of me. Nothing I can say can change their view and that's fine, I've dealt with it with cis people when I was a woman, and I'll deal with it now. I do want to restate, I am an intersectional feminist, I always have been, the fact that I'm no longer a woman does not change this. I care about trans women and the unique issues they face with transmisogyny. Me advocating for trans men doesn't negate this, I'm not going to let people who already hate trans men try to convince me otherwise, I know who I am and what I stand for. Anyways to any trans, nonbinary, or intersex person reading this, you need to find people to have solidarity with, don't participate in the infighting, we are not eachothers enemies, learn about issues on all sides of the trans spectrum, we are stronger together. And specifically to transmascs who read this, you're experiences are valid, don't let people on the internet or otherwise, tell you they aren't. You aren't evil, you aren't hurting people by being you. Stay strong and also use content filtering and that block button
