Chilli Padi Days In Japan

5-June-2021 Time flies. It is 2021! It has been 6 years since my first post. Surprisingly Nina still doesn‘t sleep alone. She sleeps with her daddy and the SMALL ONE sleeps next to me. It’s our second child. She is already 2+ years old. Nina is almost 6 years old. Nina has been a wonderful girl. She loves drawing and making creative stuffs! She loves caring others as well. Daddy still calls her pumpkin and her new nick name is chatter box. She can’t stop talking! We‘re glad that she can speak in both languages English and Japanese. She has a little bit of American accent not because of her daddy but because of cartoons she watches. She loves all kinds of stories and Youtube cooking or craft channel. She can watch for hours!! We’re so happy that she is growing well. We love her smiles always.

12-Mar-16 First night that you are sleeping in your own room alone. I thought you might refuse to sleep there but you are sleeping there peacefully now. Proud that you are okay being alone and sad that you are growing too fast. Since the day you were born, we slept in the same room at night without fail. I know you are in the room next to ours but am missing you too much. I could not imagine it would be tough this much to sleep separately when we set the bed that you are sleeping just now before you were born. I feel that you are going far more and more everyday. Nina, just stay with us as long as possible. Too sad to imagine you are leaving us one day. I don't think I can take it..

9-Mar-16 Recently you woke up around 12:00am as you did just now. Seems that you don't want to sleep alone in your bed. Once we move you to our bed, you usually go back to sleep immediately. Your daddy and I are always fighting for the spot next to you. Haha. Today when I saw you sleeping the face looked matured. I guess you are turning from a baby to a kid. You don't have to rush to grow, Nina. Please stick with us as long as you want!

Your daddy and I had a huge fight this 2 days about our sir name. Your sir name is same as my Japanese family name as I didn't change it when I got married. But daddy wanted us to take same name as his family name. I was a bit worried to take his name as our name will sound like foreigner's even we are Japanese. But after the big fight, we decided to take daddy's sir name because we are one family..The sir name may cause trouble but we will some how figure it out.. I just couldn't see your daddy being hurt/sad/angry because of the name.

22-Feb-16 Today I fought with my mother (your baba) regarding the solid food. It's small thing but I got emotional when I heard my mother's word. She didn't mean to hurt me but I got hurt. I hope I don't argue with you in the future about cooking/washing/cleaning etc.. I'll always be your side. The way of handling house work is not so important if you are comfortable with the way. "House work can wait", this is the word from aunty Elaine. This word support me lots! I hope I am the person who can motivate you in the future when you are looking for support.

21-Feb-16 We went for shopping yesterday and your daddy was carrying you using Elgo and you fall sleep. That was your first time falling sleep when your daddy carrying you!

20-Feb-16 Yesterday, we went for yoga class together. There were lots of babies like you. A baby crawled to you and stay near. You didn't cry at all and you just grabbed his toy! Last time when we joined the class in Dec, you could not do these kind of stuff and just stayed same place. But now you can rolled and grab other baby's toy. Happy to see you doing more and more things:)

15-Feb-16 Tonight you woke up middle of the night because you wet the bed. I’m sure it was uncomfortable. While we were rushing to change your clothes, you cried making lots of bubbles. Daddy smiled because you were so cute, he said. He was right, Nina. Even if you are crying, you are so cute! Hehe

12-Feb-16 When you were eating food at night, you vomited like merlione.. Since you were born, this is your second time. We are a bit worried but you look fine now. No fever as well. Sooner or later, there will be the time when you are not feeling well. Though I promise to take care of you, will be very hard to see you are not feeling well…..

10-Feb-16 Nina, you are so cute!! In the evening you cried a bit looking for me. Thank you~~~I’m very lucky to have you as my daughter. I want to stick with you as long as possible.
