stop acting like the difference between BDSM and abuse is the intensity of the activity. it’s not. it’s consent. like, you wanna be restrained and spanked and then call it a night? that’s totally cool, there is no hierarchy of kink. but don’t try to tell other people that they are being abused/an abuser because they like rapeplay, leaving marks, being punched, using sharps or whatever else that might seem extreme to you. if they have done these things with a fully-informed consenting partner, it is not abuse. just because it is outside your comfort-zone does not make it abuse.
