Where do I begin?

It's Saturday night and I'm going out in a bit, but to kill time until I leave I thought I'd share what you can find in my make up bag! I only know the basics of wearing make up and usually only wear eye make up, but I do know a lot about cruelty free cosmetics. Hundreds of thousands of animals endure cruel and painful tests for cosmetics. Shopping cruelty free is easy and cheap you guys! 

(Disclaimer: not all cruelty free cosmetics are vegan. Unfortunately some still contain animal ingredients so watch out for that!)

Some of my favorite go to brands are e.l.f, love and beauty by forever 21 and Ulta! 

Anyway here is a list of what I use! If you have any recommendations for cruelty free cosmetics please leave a comment! 

Liquid eyeliner: Palladio (sold at sally and ulta). This has been my go to eye liner and I've worn it every day for years now. I also use e.l.f's when I'm running low! 

Mascara: e.l.f volume plumping mascara (it's only like $2!!!) 

Foundation and powder: ulta double duty wet & dry pressed powder foundation and ulta double duty primer & foundation. I also like e.l.f's eyelid primer 

Eyeshadow: e.l.f or ulta (preferably ulta for a bit better quality) 

Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow pomade (this is definitely the most pricey cosmetic I own, but it last forever and it's WONDERFUL) 

Lipstick: elf has a few good ones but my most recent discovery is the velvet collection from forever 21 and for the price it's wonderful! It can be tricky to find vegan lipstick that isn't pricy and this stuff is great! Lasts for hours and stays on so well. (Not all lipsticks from forever 21 are vegan so watch out for other lines)

As for make up brushes elf has so many and that's what I use to apply all of my make up! I do use an angled brush by Sonia Kashuk for my brows (available at target) 

Finally to take off all of my make up at the end of the day I use Yes to grapefruit facial towelettes (also available at target) 

Almost all of these products are under $5! You wouldn't burn or poison your cat or dog so why support companies that do? Buying cruelty free cosmetics means never paying for someone to hurt an animal for things such as cosmetics.
