Hello friends, We’re deeply grateful for your generosity and kind words as we prepare to leave our home—it means the world to us.

We recently received the shipping quote, and it came in at nearly $7,000—more than double what we anticipated. As a result, we’ve had to part with even more belongings we hoped to keep, and we’re carefully reconsidering what remains.

This GoFundMe has started out better than we could have imagined, thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has contributed. We are so grateful for all of you. 

Your contributions have covered the first leg of the journey, getting us from Los Angeles to New York. We still need to pay off the ocean crossing which has been booked, as well as organizing the final leg to our destination in Germany. Every dollar takes us one step closer to a safe new life.
