Confidence is king. Listen first, speak second.

The power to change is within each of us. If you want to do something and become someone you have always wanted to become you need to start now. Do not wait until tomorrow. Even if you did one small thing today, you have gone way farther than you were yesterday. Make time to begin and not time to develop another excuse.

I recall on the Seinfeld TV show, George’s father (played by Jerry Stiller) said “serenity now!” when he was stressed. A modification of that saying is what I call “freedom now!” If you ever wanted to do something and something else is holding you back (e.g., homework, work, anxiety over some project or person you’re involved with, etc.) do it now! Don’t wait and let it stress you out/ bog you down any longer! By doing it now you will have more time, peace of mind, and freedom in the future because that thing will not bother you anymore.

Confidence will get you far. It will earn respect. It will allow you to be seen as a leader.
