"You're doing fine, kid." Bonnie offered, trying to calm his nerves. "Just relax."

"Of course." the Bennett promised, showing the man she saw as a son a smile. "I won't tell a soul."

"They are what make us who we are. It's what makes us interesting, and it seperates us from everyone else."

"It's her name, I'm just lucky enough to wear it." she countered, laughing at his teasing. "No offense taken, I'm proud to say I live in the shadow of my grams." Her grandmother had done incredible things, things she could never dream of, and she just hoped she could be half the woman, and witch, she'd been. "Yeah, I guess you could."

"I can't stand you sometimes." she replied with a smile as she shook her head. "It's just surprising all things considered..."

The witch hung onto every word, nodding along as he spoke up until the moment she notices the frown plastered on his face. “It might not be ideal, but you both care for each other right? And the attraction was obviously mutual...” she began, taking his hand and squeezing it gently. “The world works in mysterious ways...”

“ - Really?”

There were plenty of thoughts running through the Bennett’s head, but she pushed them all aside in favor of supporting the heretic in front of her. “So, you’re falling hard for Alexander Claire, huh? What’s it like?”

“It’s all hypothetical until you show up at my doorstep with your new baby Sonnie Sennett Parker.”

“Such as?”

“How about we avoid B names?”

“Kai Parker.” She isn’t mad, she’s not even disappointed, she’s more surprised than anything. “Does Will know?”

“That’s a terrible thing to do to a kid. You of all people should know about bad baby names.”

“Oh.” Now that was one she didn’t see coming. “I didn’t even realize he and Will had broken up.”

“You’ll make it up to yourself, huh?”

“On?” The way he worded his response intrigued the Bennett, and she raised an eyebrow as she waited for the follow-up, and she wasn’t disappointed. Separating their joined hands, and with an eye roll, she wrapped her pinky around his own. “I pinky promise.”
