I think the best thing about midnight sun is that in the original twilight book with Bella’s POV it’s mainly her swooning over this dark mysterious boy, but Edward’s POV in midnight sun is literally just him circling her house in his Volvo at 3am like “Oh god I’m such a fucking creep. Why am I like this god why”

No offence but Bella and Charlie’s relationship of “we’re kind of awkward around each other and figuring out how to be a family after living apart for seventeen years, and we’re both introverted homebodies that have separate interests but still kind of enjoy each other’s company, and neither of us are good at talking about our feelings but we find our own little ways of expressing that we care about and love each other” …is so damn wholesome and I want more of it.
