I’m re-listening to breaking dawn and I can’t believe they sent jasper to pick up Bella’s mom and stepdad the one vampire who struggles with blood lust 😭😭😭.

Netflix not having Breaking Dawn parts 1 & 2 is actually homophobic, thank god i impulsively bought all the DVDs four years ago

There are times when Stephenie's work almost feels like fetish writing because the verbiage and imagery have such little variation and she's so clearly enamored with one specific quality of a character while knowing absolutely nothing else about them, and there's nothing really wrong with that, it's just kind of strange and interesting how much overeager, lazy prose curves around to overlap with very intentionally written fetish writing. The section of BD from Jacob's perspective is almost unreadable for how much it salivates over Bella's violent, painful, likely terminal pregnancy, but there's no chance Stephenie has a forced(?) breeding fetish. She just writes as if she does.
