Pitch Deck: IChores
My Story: Do you live with roommates? Then you have probably experienced what it is like to be fighting with them over whoās turn it is to take out the trash. I know I have definitely experienced this while being away at University. If only there was an easy way to make a chore schedule with your roommates. Well now there is with IChores.
My Value Proposition: IChores is the smartest way to designate your weekly chore duties among your roommates. Within a click of a button, IChores organizes and designates all of your roommates the chores they are responsible for that week. And changes and messages take place within the app where you can put up your chore for bidding and someone can take it so they have less chores to do the following week!
The Pain: IChores eliminates the guesswork out of finding out what chores each of your roommates are responsible for during the week, and reduces the number of potential disputes you may have with your roommates. By taking into account the previous weeks, IChores provides a fair distribution of chores for each person. It provides a flexible, yet smart approach so everyone is happy.Ā
The Solution: Within the app, It shows you a breakdown of a week at a time, of each roommates duties for that week. At the top, it shows any chores up for auction that week for anyone who is too busy to do a duty, but it means that they would be responsible for an extra chore the following week. Whoever takes up the chore that is up for auction, has one less chore to do the following week!Ā
Elevator Pitch: Tutorial 6
My name is Blanche Clemente and Iām currently a Fourth-year Co-op Marketing Management Student at Ted Rogers School of Management. I am a part of the Deanās List and āTop 200 Programā which brings together the top 2% of dedicated students from the entire TRSM faculty. I have successfully completed a summer internship with Go RVing Canada as a Social Media Marketing Coordinator, where the president of the company described me as a āpositive contributor, keen to ensure my value and deliverable quality remained strong.ā
Reference:Ā https://www.linkedin.com/in/blanche-clemente/
I approached this task by first referencing the Career preparation document that I heavily relied on when I was constructing my co-op application in my second year. This document states to first introduce yourself, and then your professional experience. I then stated my strengths and accomplishments, as described by my previous manager since he gave me a very good recommendation from my previous work term. By sounding professional, and stating my unique achievements, this demonstrates my highlights to any one who would read this.

Out of the 6 websites I visited, Amazon had the highest number of trackers by far as seen on Disconnect at 30.Ā I was shocked at just how many trackers this website is linked to. I did not like the fact that there were so many trackers on this website as I do use it often, and was unaware of just how many trackers areĀ used, taking data on my personal spending and shopping habits. I think Amazon should be more transparent with the number of trackers they have on their site, informing their customer. I will be more cautious next time when searching on sites that take personal data from me, and will track this by using Disconnect.
