NETFICS!

This is a combination of the three things I love most: fic, editing and netflix ❤️  The idea popped into my head and I went for it before realizing I would have to make covers FOR ALL THESE FICS??? I have no words for how much I enjoyed myself while I was making this, just - no words. For the names of the categories I tried to go with ones that netflix actually does have!

Here’s a list of every fic included, they are all wonderful, mind-blowing, gorgeous pieces that I love dearly!!! The downside of the format is that I can’t gush properly, but believe me, every single fic in here will make you vibrate with how good it is.

He just does it.

He’s out with Harry one day, they’re playing a muggle game they call ‘bowling,’ and there’s sauce on Harry’s lip from the buffalo wings they’re having and he has the sweetest look on his face and Draco just can’t take it anymore. He says it before he knows what he’s saying: “I want to marry you.”

There’s no blushing from his side once he realises he said it, there’s only the slightest of widened-eyes and nodding, “Yeah. Yeah, I want to marry you. Would you...will you marry me?”

Harry on the other hand, he’s been thinking about this since forever, he had everything planned from the venue to the music to what they’d be wearing. His mouth is hanging open and he’s laughing, “I fucking hate you,” but Harry knows Draco knows he doesn’t. He thinks of the days, no, months, he’s spent wondering what to say and when would be the appropriate time to pop the question but in all the scenarios in his head, he never imagined Draco bleeding Malfoy catching him at the worst fucking time possible and asking him this.

“That a no, then?” Draco has a teasing smile on his face, and Harry finally realises how much in love with this man he really is.

Purebloods never mention that topic, for one (most pureblood families avoid it, thinking that if they don’t talk about it, queer witches and wizards won’t know it’s a possibility)

And it’s not like the Dursleys were progressive on these matters or anything (far from it) 

but at least Harry was exposed to Muggle information when Uncle Vernon watched the news on the telly in the evenings

News programmes that used words like gay and lesbian and queer 

Words that always made a note of kinship vibrate in Harry’s chest.

He was somewhere in between, he thought, as he remembered the softness of Cho Chang’s lips, as he recalled the way his heart raced when he caught glimpses of naked male bodies in the Quidditch showers. 

He wasn’t sure there was a word for it, when you liked both boys and girls 

but he was definitely something, and that something wasn’t straight.

He wasn’t particularly bothered by this revelation, himself. He wasn’t going to tell the Dursleys. 

And he had other, bigger fish to fry anyway (what with Voldemort repeatedly trying to kill him, ya know)

What bothered him was that it wasn’t like that for other queer kids around him at Hogwarts.

Nobody talked about it, not the way people did on the telly, even after the war, when Harry came back for eighth year

Harry was certain he wasn’t the only queer kid in school, and it bothered him to think that all the others had to hide it

Sitting next to Draco Malfoy during their mandatory Muggle Studies classes, he wondered…

He wondered if Malfoy, with his soft hair and his impeccable clothes and his affected speech and his fine-boned hands full of expressive, mannered life was like him.

One day he ran into Malfoy round an aisle at the Library, and Harry being Harry, he just blurted the question out, then quickly added, ‘cause I might be, too.

Malfoy went red with surprise, then nodded hesitantly once he recovered.

They started hanging around together more often after that. Talking about how they’d found out about themselves, how it felt, how little they knew, how Draco was afraid of his parents’ reaction when he’d tell them,

but also the fun stuff: if they’d ever kissed anyone, how far they had gone, and who else in school might be (and what about the teachers??)

Word was out and slowly they gathered a little club of queer kids around them (like the DA, but with less Expelliarmus and more talk and tea)

Draco was the first boy Harry kissed, a few weeks later

And he’s pretty sure it wasn’t just because Draco was the only gay boy in school

He realises:

Ron is 12 years old.

Ron stole a car.

Ron fucking stole a fucking car at the age of TWELVE.
