Laurence Romanini, widely known as "Roma," is a foundational figure in the French gothic rock scene, best known as the drummer and a founding member of Corpus Delicti. Formed in Nice in 1992, the band became a legendary quartet in the darkwave and post-punk genres, with Romanini's driving, atmospheric percussion anchoring their most celebrated works: Twilight (1993), Sylphes (1994), and Obsessions (1995). Beyond her musical contributions, she remains an enduring icon of 1990s gothic aesthetics and subculture.
