A selfship i mostly use to fantasize about being the worst version of myself, my sona brindle is quite attached to Val despite knowing of his actions.

Brindle is very spoiled. Val gives him a lot of attention and special treatment, and he gets his narcissistic supply from Val. Brindle is fully aware of the awful shit Val does, but is far too caught up in the attention and praise that Val gives him and can't find it in him to leave, especially because he doesn't feel like he could find anyone else who would give him this amount of consistent narcissistic supply, so he chooses to wilfully ignore the bad things Val's done and continues doing in order to keep receiving this praise. Despite having actual romantic feelings, Brindle's vulnerable NPD is a driving force in him staying with Val. Its not a case of grooming or manipulation, just two toxic people

so ye, not a very healthy relationship.

Brindle doesn't work for Val as a performer, he mostly wanders around the studio and is mostly attached to Val's shoulder. Val's workers know by now not to say anything negative about Brindle, or else he'll snitch to Val and they'll be in for a baaad fate

Brindle's allowed himself to become a worse person around Val, but also can't find it within himself to care.

like im sure if the wrong person sees it i'll get trampled, and the ship is mostly just for fun-funs, but making my self insert suck and be in a toxic relationship is much healthier than actually sucking and being in a relationship like that cause val reminds me of someone i used to know as a kid and i cant help seeing that as desirable (im working on it dw. this selfship help me do that, even)
