Lucifer has become an extremely important character to me, I kin him very strongly (on the verge on fictokinning) and he's all i think about all day, every day. He's helped me through various physical and mental struggles and i can genuinely say he's the reason i'm more mentally healthy than I've ever been. While my main selfship with him is romantic, I also selfship familially with him sometimes.

My sona Pax joined the hotel a few years after the canon show. after hearing about the now few instances of redemption happening, he decided to test his luck. (currently tho, he no longer has any interest in being redeemed as that would mean leaving Lucifer)
He met the occupants of the hotel, and eventually Lucifer. They started talking almost immediately after meeting and are now extremely close. Pax attached himself to Lucifer quite quickly and Lucifer is an extreme FP. they spend most days together and started dating a few months after meeting. They comfort eachother through their respective mental health struggles, and often have the "damn, life sucks, but at least we have eachother" mentality. Pax knew he wanted to marry Lucifer, but was unsure how to bring it up out of fear of hurting Lucifer, since he had quite a negative association with marriage, and was extremely pleasantly surprised when Lucifer proposed to him. Lucifer wears both Pax's and Lilith's wedding rings.ย Lilith's is gold and Pax's is rose gold. ย it had caused Pax some initial feelings and distrust, but he knows it's still extremely important to Lucifer and can't expect him to be completely over Lilith, ever. Lucifer had worried him falling in love with someone else would make it so he was over or even replacing Lilith, but knows he still loves Pax as his own person and partner (tho i keep forgetting to draw him with even one ring on so whoops)
They spend most days together. With both of them having aggressively fluctuating self-esteem and a lot of mental issues, they both suffer relationship problems due to it but also can relate and talk to eachother about it.ย
Pax's devotion to Lucifer could be considered obsession. He relies on Lucifer a lot for his mental health, it hinges on whether Lucifer can be around him, and he's terrified it's going to make Lucifer leave him. Lucifer is an extreme FP for him, and Pax feels he could talk to no other person ever again as long as he had Lucifer. He is completely in love with him to the stars and back, and Lucifer is his favourite person he's ever thought about. He's still extremely scared he'll scare lucifer off and make Lucifer hate him, and is slowly learning how to not think Lucifer's going to divorce and hate him after every small disagreement. He hates lashing out at him, waiting for Lucifer to snap back and turn on him, and is still surprised that hasn't happened.
Lucifer was initially skeptical and struck when he realised someone other than Lilith could love him romantically, and especially this much. He was originally wary of entering a new relationship, terrified that he would do something wrong or make his partner leave again, and it was hard to realise that someone could still be in love with him. after a lot of relationship work from the both of them, he does feel like they both can talk through their problems. Especially during the start of their relationship, Lucifer hid problems and negative feelings through jokes and bottling up out of fear of Pax thinking he's annoying or sensitive and not worth his time. Both him and Pax often have long conversations about how they've been feeling, trying to remember they don't need to hide anything from eachother. Lucifer would get upset when Pax would lash out due to anger or overstimulation, but incorrectly tried to solve it by distance and hiding his feelings about it. He's mostly stopped doing this but the thoughts aren't completely gone.
They are both actively working to correct these issues and become healthier together
both pax and lucifer are horrendously bad at names, and even after years at the hotel luci struggles. theres been a few instances of pax not remembering someones name, lucifer telling him but also getting it wrong so pax calls them the wrong name anyway

Brindle is fully aware of the awful shit Val does, but is far too caught up in the attention and praise that Val gives him and can't find it in him to leave, especially because he doesn't feel like he could find anyone else who would give him this amount of consistent narcissistic supply, so he chooses to wilfully ignore the bad things Val's done and continues doing in order to keep receiving this praise. Despite having actual romantic feelings, Brindle's vulnerable NPD is a driving force in him staying with Val. Its not a case of grooming or manipulation, just two toxic people

"Yes, mister Hockley?" Her hands clasped behind her back.
He almost seems embarrassed, lifting one end of the undone bow tie hanging around his neck.
"I seem to be struggling," he admits, "Care to give me a hand?"
She gives him a small nod, reaching up to tie it for him.
He tries not to stare, to keep his gaze at the ceiling, but it drifts back down to her face.
Her brow furrowed in concentration, cheeks looking incredibly soft.
There's a tension between them, flirtatious words leading to stolen tender and intimate moments like this.
She makes him nervous, makes him smile, fills his head with warm thoughts.
As she makes sure the tie is secured properly and straight, his hand raises up, catching her chin and tilting it up to his face.

"Miranda," He catches her wrist, freezing when she turns to look at him.

"I..." He flounders, not even sure of what he was going to say. He clears his voice, trying to avoid her expectant look, "Never mind."
He lets her go and watches her walk away, emotions swirling inside him.
