Update
Lily was doing super well at daycare until a little girl pushed her. Now she didn’t wanna go and cried/had a meltdown when Kevin dropped her off today 😫
I’m gonna call in a bit to check up on her. I feel so bad. But she loved it and I feel like once she starts playing and seeing how fun it is and how much she loves it she’ll be okay.
I take my state board practical tomorrow.
So that’s nerve wracking. I’m getting all my stuff together today for it. Since it’s very specific.
I have to wake up at like 4am to get there in time since it’s in Raleigh and I’ll hit doing to work traffic.
Work is going well! Hoping it continues to go so well and I can get some regulars going.
My mom leaves soon. Which will actually be nice. After her living with us on and off for like 4-5 years, it’s A LOT. and I’m ready to have my own personal space, my own house back, not be questioned or told what to do in my own house or with my own kids.
Don’t get me wrong, she helped me out a lot by watching the kids during the year I went to school, but all the years before that she wouldn’t even get a job or anything so we both were just here.
It’s nice having her in some aspects. Or if she lived here but not like WITH us. It’d be better.
It’s got to be that can’t-eat, can’t-sleep, reach-for-the-stars, over-the-fence, World Series kind of stuff, right? A girl’s got to have her standards.

Things are looking up
I’ve been so stressed.
But hazzah things are looking up.
I was SOOOOO anxious and nervous about lily going to daycare. She can be very difficult to handle.
But teacher said she did amazing and listened and she was so happy to see me and said she had so much fun, and made friends and even tried new foods!!
So I really hope this continues and that they have a spot for Noah for after school/summer when my mom leaves in May (or a bit sooner) I have to ask again cause they said if Lily’s a full time regular there they’ll try to make sure he gets a spot.
I’m gonna use taxes to pay off debt, save some and pay for months of daycare in advance so that I don’t need to stress about making enough myself to just break even with it when I JUST started my job two weeks ago and need to build clientele.
Well our taxes were taking forever to get approved and I was stressed something was wrong. But they finally did and should arrive soon!
Luckily I DID make enough in my first full week there to pay for her daycare week this week. But that’ll be coming in and I can pay for that and not worry about it. And put all the money I makes towards our debts and savings.
I’m also LOVING my job! It’s an amazing atmosphere that I fit into so well. And with every cut I’m getting better!!
