// this iteration is based heavily off canon AND headcanons, but doesn’t follow the DEATH METAL comics. it’s a study of the strides in which TBWL will go to get what he desires, the destruction he’s capable of in other universes and looking deeper into his deranged mind to pull out his full potential as an antagonistic force. he’s really just here to have fun and take the multiverse down.

MEDEA you are medea from from the argonautica by apollonius and medea by euripides. you are ambitious, ruthless, and unforgiving in getting what you want, and unapologetic in your self-preservation. the truth is, you have let your romantic ideals get the better of you before, and time and time again you have had to relearn how to build up those walls and thorns that guard it. the only person who can protect you is yourself, and you have learned that the hard way. sometimes stoking that fire of hate and anger in your heart hurts more than whatever you're fighting against.

     { ⛓ } –  SPREADING FALSEHOOD was for those who had something to HIDE, and bare, unadulterated terrors lay weaved throughout the truth. Children believed in monsters skulking about within the darkness, but refused to acknowledge the more logical realities outside of their creativity. Jonathan was no exception to the rule – once the facts were unearthed, and the being of Batman’s FEARS merely supped on that reaction, delighted in the boy’s ignorance, as it made it all the more FUN to taunt him with. To PROVOKE. It didn’t matter the universe, that child never changed, nor learned.

CLARK’S INFLUENCE. An advantageous fact that strung the corners of deranged, reddened lips upwards, smile even more prevalent throughout confident features. Like Father, like son, and Laughs held both arms out by his sides to offer an arrogant shrug – acknowledging Superboy’s fruitless attempt to decipher the One Who Laughs. DELUSIONAL negation shifted power to the former vigilante, growing indiscriminately until he stepped up to the boy, the distance shortening between them. However, he maintained a radius, assuredly enough that a certain ORE couldn’t effect Jonathan as he spoke up, “ Never seen black kryptonite, have you? ” 

The SOURCE of Superman, Superboy’s and Supergirl’s inevitable, and grotesque demise back on his world. An object invented purely to subjugate a Kryptonian’s conscience, and contort them into murderous savages. To the point they KILLED one another, and one Lois Lane within the crossfire. A fond memory, but attention returned to the youth, as a hand withdrew into Laughs’ jacket, throwing caution to the wind. “ A good detective needs proof of the crime. Let me introduce you, Jon. ” The madman hummed with jovial intent, and fished out a blackened piece of kryptonite within an alabaster grip.
