This drawing took a lot of work, and I pretty much spent the entire day on it. By the end, I got a little lazy and reused Danarius' grooming pose. I tried drawing a new one, but every attempt ended up more crooked than the last, so eventually I gave up on that.

Keys jingled as L unlocked his apartment door and walked in, kicking off his shoes with a sigh. He walked to his couch and fell into it, letting the cushions consume him as he relaxed into it.
Today was awful. Just absolutely awful.
Woke up late for work, missed breakfast, messed up at work, got yelled at, missed lunch, got yelled at again, and than as I was heading home I was splashed by a car driving much to fast.
"Should've changed probably.." I mumbled to myself. I stunk, and obviously should've done that first. But who cared, I was alone, let me be alone and disgusting and wallow in misery-
A knock on the window caused me to groan and look up, spotting a familiar shadow and two white eyes staring back at me. We stared at each other, I was contemplating putting my head back down and ignoring him, and he was probably contemplating breaking my window to get in here. So sighed again and hopped up to unlock it before he did that.
"You okay?" He expertly hopped in with a bag in his hands before quickly shutting the window and closing the blinds. I waved my hands around and groaned.
"No not really." I answered back.
He hummed and looked at me, before bending down slightly sniffing me. Leaning back he frowned and pointed towards the bathroom.
"Shower."
I groaned again and made my way towards the bedroom first. I knew I had to shower but he didn't have to sniff me like a dog! Who did he think he was?! Coming into my house (apartment) and telling me what to do?
Grabbing my clothes and making my way to the shower I turned it on hot and jumped in. Noise from the kitchen made it's way towards me but I ignored it, sighing as the gross smell and feeling washed away.
Okay, maybe he was right to tell me to shower or whatever. Guilt nipped at my heels at the thoughts I had.
I'll just make sure to apologize when I get out...even if I didn't actually say anything to him I'll still apologize, just incase.
Finally done with washing, I got out and dried off. Making sure to put my hair in a towel so it doesn't drip everywhere before getting dressed and going back out.
What hit me was a delicious smell, and my mouth immediately watered. Oh yeah I haven't eaten anything all day.
Walking up to him, I noticed Batman, had turned into Bruce and was currently dishing up some spaghetti and sides for the both of us.
He looked at me again and leaned down sniffing again before pulling back and nodding. "You smell good, feel better?"
Nodding with a smile I grab a breadstick and pop it in my mouth before grabbing the plates and moving them to the table.
"Since I've been busy, I thought some takeout and a movie might make up for that." Bruce opened the fridge and grabbed us drinks before sitting down next to me on the couch, our food on the table in front of us.
"You don't have to make up for anything I get it. You're busy, I'm an adult I can handle that."
"Oh can you? Says the adult who stomped his feet towards the bathroom when I told him he stunk." He chuckled as I made a face.
"Well, okay, first of all, sorry about that. I just had, the worst day of all days. Second of all, I didn't know you come with food and a movie or I would've been in a better mood."
He smiled and we dug into our food. It was absolutely delicious and amazing and I was genuinely so happy Bruce decided to come over today. We finished quickly and pushed the plates to the side to be messed with later.
"Did you know I had a bad day?"
Bruce shrugged as he was putting the disc into the player, before making his way back to the couch.
"You not answering is an answer you know." He smiled as he put his leg up on the couch and patted his chest. Smiling, I adjusted myself to lean into him as he fiddled with the controller to get the movie started.
"You actually do give amazing hugs." I sighed into him as I closed my eyes. "And pick amazing fast food, and pick the best days to visit and to tell me I stink."
Feeling the laugh go through him, I look up and smile.
"Why is that?"
He looked down and gave me a kiss on the forehead before answering.
"I'll tell you, but you can't tell anyone else."
He played the movie and by the menu, it was some C-rates horror that he probably spent hours digging through the video store for. He liked watching the weirdest and most obscure movies he could find. But it wasn't that bad watching them, since I was with him, and every moment with him felt perfect.
"It's cause I'm Batman." He laughed as I groaned. Than as soon as the awful narration started we quited down. Today was absolutely awful, but atleast it was going to end comfortably with the person I love the most.
