“I think we can too.” He knew he wanted her to be with him and be his and now he finally had her thinking along the same lines. “You never judged me and I’m not going to judge you either.” He looked deep into her eyes. “I want you to be mind, Becks. I want you to marry me.” He told her knowing that it could be impulsive but it may be the best thing for both if them.

“I know and you know mine isn’t the best either.” Their pasts were different in a lot of ways but both still hurt from them. “None of that matters now. You’re safe with me. No one’s ever going to hurt you again.” He told her with assurance in his voice. She saw the real him and he didn’t have to pretend with her. “ I don’t see why not either. One day at a time, baby.” He kissed her lips softly as he looked into her eyes. 

“I’m glad you didn’t. It would have been a shame to lose out on what we have or can have because of how I used to be.” It wasn’t all him in truth. The women he had been with weren’t supportive of him and his job. They either didn’t like what he did or didn’t like Iowa. Sarah didn’t like living in Iowa and she was practically a fan that had her friend who wrestled and knew him to introduce him. He always felt like he had to be Seth Rollins around her and not Colby Lopez. It wasn’t making excuses because he had chosen to cheat but if he had a better connection with them then he felt it could and would have been different. “I think so too. I could see us together forever.”

He knew what had been said about him and it wasn’t all lies. He used to ben bad about cheating and it was sure to have thrown up red flags for her. “I don’t blame you for that. No one wants to be hurt. You had enough hurt in your life.” He understood her reasons completely. “Not stupid because it doesn’t fit us. I thought the same thing about dating in the business but it doesn’t fit you either. You’re amazing.” He rubbed down her back gently with his hand. “I won’t suffer. We’re not going to grow apart but if you’re ever unhappy I don’t want you to stay just because you don’t want to hurt me. I want you happy and I think I can do that.”

He smiled at her as he felt her fingers interlace with his own. “You weren’t stupid, scared maybe but not stupid. It’s okay because now we both know how each other feels and we can move forward together.” He told her as he looked into her eyes. There was no reason for either of them to be scared anymore or worry about the other not feeling the same as they did. It was all out in the open now. “You’re the person that I want to spend my life with.”
