You might have seen some posts today about MCCC’s Discord and how they allow posts from racists or participating in racism, but threathen or ban people for talking about racism and delete their messages. If not, check the post here and the reblog here. I’m here to shed some light on the situation, and showcase different times I’ve seen discussion on racism shut down, and racists go without warning.

The Australian prime minister wishes to pass a “religious freedoms bill” which is vile. For it to pass the other major political party, the Australian Labour Party, will need to vote for it and they are considering it. Please read below some of the things this bill will legalise, and then please, for the love of humanity, riot. Send letters, emails, sign petitions.

Australian politics are so often swept under the rug because we’re so “laid back,” but Australia is currently right on track to turn out like America. The Liberals have cut funding to Medicare (you now have to pay to see a doctor unless you’re on a welfare payment), to education, to emergency services (such as the Rural Fire Service), refuse to believe or take any action on climate change, some Liberal MPs wish to repeal gun control, and now this.

University Dorm Bed Separated

I wanted my Dorms to have consistent bed frames but varied bed sheets so I separated them. All swatches are still present, however frames will appear to have less swatches since some of the original bed swatches had the same frames. BB.MoveObjects not required to place beds on frames. Prices halved for each object so their prices are effectively the same.

There’ve been quite a few create-a-sim challenges floating around tumblr lately, but I wasn’t really connecting with any of the prompts, so I decided to make my own! 

RULES & GUIDELINES

- May only use ONE sim. Download someone from the gallery, create your own, use an EA townie, whatever. Make sure you’re 100% pleased though because you’ll be stuck with them till the end!

- CAN NOT change Sim’s genetics, body shape, etc. (Hair, contacts and such are free game, but try not to alter anything that couldn’t be easily changed irl.)

- I’d appreciate it if you included a link back to this post. Thanks!

- Since this was inspired by the style of lookbooks, try to include each outfit’s corresponding CC links when applicable. Not only is this super helpful for fellow simmers, it will also save you from having to answer tons of WCIFs.

- Get creative! Take your screenshots right from CAS, pose your Sim in a parallel in-game setting, or PhotoShop your own backdrop. The choice is yours!

- I tried to make each category as gender neutral as possible, so feel free to interpret each prompt however you see fit! Just make sure to stick to the rules (or not, it’s just a game) and have fun!

P.S. - don’t worry about trying to post one a day, or finishing in a certain amount of time. Skip over prompts you don’t like, go out of order, or wait 5 months between posting them (like I did) if you want!
