Welcome to The Royal Sanctuary, the sixth and final part of The Kwatei Collection. For this closing chapter, we are stepping into the private quarters to focus on the "getting ready" ritual and the art of layered comfort.

After months of building this world together, I wanted to end on a high note with a suite that feels both architectural and incredibly cozy. From the modular Kora Wardrobe System that lets you build the walk-in closet of your dreams to the functional Traders' Threshold folding screen with real working hinges, every item in this set was designed to bring a sense of quiet luxury and heritage to your Sims’ bedrooms.

The Asili Bed Suite: Modular linen-wrapped headboards in three widths with a matching upholstered base.

The Slumber Comfort Bedding: A separate, lived-in mattress and duvet set designed to layer perfectly over the Asili base.

I was completely blown away by the incredible level of feedback and interaction on that poll, so I will definitely be doing more of them moving forward :)

Kwatei Collection - Part 5

Now that we have the architectural bones down from last month, it’s time to move indoors and start tackling the actual interior expansion items. For Part 5, we are diving straight into the ultimate social hub: the dining room.

Continuing with that gorgeous blend of East and West African heritage, I wanted every single object in this set to tell its own unique story rather than forcing them into one rigid theme. Each piece was handled on a case-by-case basis, but you'll find beautiful design "echoes" shared across the build and buy items to seamlessly tie the whole space together.

The real anchor of this set is the Dhow Anchor Table, which features vertical fluted detailing along the apron that perfectly mirrors the carved borders of last month's Lamu doors. To wrap around it, I’ve made the minimalist Dhow Sailor’s Seat and a stunning vertical Kora Grand Armoire to bring some serious stature to the room.

On the build side, we have three brand-new wallpapers—including a gorgeous timber panelling that lets you bring those same fluted table details right onto your walls, and a hand-troweled plaster.

Kwatei Collection - Part 4

I first started this journey back in 2022, but when the Royalty & Legacy Expansion Pack introduced a neighborhood with such a distinct African soul, it created an itch I just had to scratch. While I was thrilled to see West African CAS and Buy items finally added to the game, I felt we could still use a few more essentials to really round out the vibe.

I have to admit, when the EP was first released, the aesthetic of the neighborhood caught me off guard. Unlike the CAS and food items, which felt distinctly West African, the architecture didn't quite "scream" that same heritage. It bugged me that I couldn't immediately place the inspiration. At first, I thought it leaned North African—perhaps Casablanca—but after some deep-diving, I found the closest references in East Africa, specifically Kenya.

Kenya's history as a trade hub for the Orient and India inspired a unique fusion of African, Islamic, and Indian architecture. That discovery sent me down a Pinterest rabbit hole, and here we are! The real "aha!" moment was the Lamu Door included in this set. It’s the perfect blend of traditional influence and a modern eye, and I’ve made sure it coordinates perfectly with the doors and windows from previous parts of the collection.

DelSol - Part Seven: The Stair Episode

After spending the last few months focused heavily on the exterior of the house, Part Seven finally moves things inside. This release centres around one of the most important architectural moments in any home: the staircase.

With the recent Sims 4 Studio update introducing support for curved stairs, it felt like the perfect time to tackle this part of the collection. I’ve always loved how Spanish Revival homes handle staircases. They’re often simple, structural, and designed to feel like part of the building itself rather than an afterthought.

This month introduces three different stair styles designed to suit both traditional and renovated Spanish interiors.

The Escalera del Sol stair comes in both timber and plaster finishes. The timber version pairs naturally with the new iron railing for a more traditional look, while the plaster version leans further into that sculptural Mediterranean feel where the stair blends into the architecture.

For more contemporary homes, the Línea del Sol stair offers a minimalist alternative with flush steps and clean geometry. It can be paired with the solid plaster and timber railings to create a nearly seamless transition between stair and surrounding structure.

Each stair has been designed alongside matching railings and landing fences so builders can mix and match styles while keeping the overall look cohesive.

To round things out, I also added a small sculptural moment for stair landings and entry spaces with the Ángulo del Sol chair. Inspired by classic geometric furniture, it works nicely as a statement piece in otherwise minimal spaces.

🌴 Del Sol — Part Six: Boundaries & Atmosphere

Part Six of DelSol moves the focus toward boundaries, entry, and the details that shape a home before you even step inside. After last month’s outdoor dining and gathering spaces, this release looks at the structure that holds it all together.

This part expands the plaster system with full boundary walls and coordinating gates, along with lower wall options for planters and garden zoning. The goal was to make enclosing outdoor space feel architectural and intentional, rather than purely decorative.

Entry becomes more layered this month too. Security panels, a drive-up entry system, a freestanding mailbox, and a modern wall lantern all work together to create a considered arrival moment. The security features are, of course, included purely for Kendall’s safety. We take perimeter control very seriously in DelSol.

To balance the structure, this release also introduces a new outdoor focal point. The Fuego del Sol stone fire table pairs with the curved Asiento del Sol loveseat, bringing texture and warmth into the garden. The imperfect stone finish and inset metal detailing lean into a wabi-sabi sensibility, creating something that feels grounded and relaxed rather than overly polished.

The stone pieces were a bit of a personal win for me this month. I finally got my graphics tablet back out and actually committed to sculpting the chipped edges and irregular surfaces by hand. I’d been procrastinating starting them for a while because I knew they needed that extra attention. I’m really happy with how they turned out though. They feel like a proper Maxis Match interpretation of my inspiration.

☀️DelSol – Part Five: Outdoor Dining & Kitchen

Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope you all managed to get a bit of rest over the break and are heading into 2026 feeling refreshed — this release marks the very first DelSol drop of the year, and I couldn’t think of a better way to start than gathering around food, sunshine, and outdoor spaces.

Part Five shifts the focus firmly into outdoor dining and cooking, building on the foundations of the last few releases. Inspired by modern Spanish Revival homes and relaxed California entertaining, this part is all about creating spaces where Sims linger — long lunches, casual dinners, and evenings that stretch just a little longer than planned.

At the heart of this release is the Encimera del Sol outdoor kitchen, joined by a matching island and a built-in gas grill. I wanted these pieces to feel architectural but practical — mostly closed cabinetry so you’re not forced to clutter every surface, with clean lines that work just as well under a pergola as they do out in the open.

Alongside the kitchen, the dining area finally comes together with the Mesa del Sol dining collection. Warm timber surfaces, solid proportions, and flexible seating options make it easy to mix benches and chairs depending on your space. The painted metal dining chairs tie back to last month’s seating, keeping everything cohesive without feeling overly matched.

🌿 DelSol – Part Four: Outdoor Living

I’m going to be really honest — this month was a tough one.

After what’s been a long and very full year of work, this release took a little longer than planned and ended up being more focused and pared back than originally intended. Sometimes that’s just how life goes, and rather than forcing more in and burning out, I wanted to make sure what did make it into Part Four felt thoughtful, cohesive, and truly finished.

This month’s release is all about creating the heart of an outdoor living space — the kind of courtyard where everything slows down. The new pergolas (in both 6 and 8 tile widths) anchor the space beautifully, while the modular sectional seating and chaise lounge are designed for long afternoons, relaxed evenings, and easy entertaining. Paired with the new coffee tables and lanterns, it finally feels like a complete outdoor room — calm, warm, and very DelSol.

As we head into the holiday season, I just want to say thank you — truly — for your patience, support, and kindness this year. Inspired by the sculptural textures and soft luxury of Spanish Revival design, this part celebrates slow living, warm light, and that irresistible urge to spend all day by the water.

The new additions are all about bringing calm and character to your pool area — think smooth plaster edges, organic forms, and that unmistakable glow of DelSol sunshine. From the elegant Cornisa del Sol Pool Trim and shimmering Agua Fresca Pool Water, to the relaxed sophistication of the Reposo del Sol Lounger and the organically shaped Mesa del Sol Side Table, each piece was designed to make your outdoor spaces feel cohesive, refined, and beautifully serene.

☀️DelSol☀️ - Part Two

Hey everyone! 🌞

Part Two of DelSol is here — and it’s all about plaster, arches, and that beautiful flow between indoor and outdoor living that makes Spanish Revival architecture so timeless.

This month introduces the Arco del Sol collection — a set of plaster arches and wall details designed to bring softness and depth to your builds. The curved column arches are perfect for outdoor spaces like courtyards and patios, while the traditional interior arches and matching plaster wall piece are built to blend seamlessly indoors, lighting beautifully without harsh shadow seams.

💡TIP: Column arches are best used outside in spaces that do not need to be closed off from the outdoor lighting. Functional aarchways can be paired with the fullheight wall (found in wall decorations) to create an entire thicker plaster wall with arch cutout.

And yes — you’ll also spot the wall-mounted mailbox! It’s the first time I’ve ever made a functional in-game mailbox, and I’m so happy with how it turned out. It’s a small detail, but one that really finishes a façade. I’ll definitely be revisiting the idea when I tackle outdoor fencing, where a matching freestanding version will make its debut.

Part Two feels like a real turning point for DelSol — these architectural pieces start to define the language of the set, and I can’t wait to see how you use them in your builds.
