Actually, Bay Leaves used for cooking should be removed before being served to eat.. It’s intention is for the aroma help cook the food, but is not very enjoyable on its own. It’s funny how upset these people are because they don’t realize what a Bay Leaf is, but, the real issue is that Chipotle workers are harassed by their managers with little time to worry about removal of a bay leaf, since they’re often overworked (sometimes without being paid)  These leaves are honestly most likely just a cry for help
