i am pretty new to the 100 and bellarke fandoms, and i wanna know about the early days!!! when did people first start picking up on their romantic potential? from the start? after finn dies? when did it start to ramp up?

She’s glad she didn’t say anything now. She had wanted to. More than anything, Clarke wanted to tell him that she hadn’t been alone. Madi was there, and Madi was so important to her. She would have died without Madi. And yet, Bellamy was there too. Every night, she would tuck Madi in, check the traps, and turn on the radio. Clarke would hold the silent radio up to her ear and pretend she could a faint whisper, something. And then she’d start talking. Every night, she would say “I don’t know why I still do this Bellamy,” but she knew why. It just took her a while to figure it out.  She almost told him that. But then she saw Echo get out of that rover, and for a second, she thought Echo was running after Madi - maybe they had connected in their time in Eden - but no. Clarke watched as Echo ran to Bellamy and pressed her lips to his. And Bellamy looked happy, relieved to see her. It took everything in Clarke to tear her eyes away. She had always known there was a possibility that Bellamy would have found comfort in Echo or Raven up in space, but she didn’t allow herself to believe that he would have found intimacy. And that’s what Clarke saw when she looked at Echo and Bellamy - intimacy.
