Hi there! I received your ask stating that you can't find our Ashita no Namae release, I've responded to your ask privately and also reached via DM to ask for more details, and also responded to your reply on DM! But since you sent your DM reply via ask too, I'll respond here as well, also for others' awareness.

We have stopped uploading our releases on MRM since a few years ago due to running into region lock issues, so any of our more recent releases on MRM would have been reuploaded by someone else. I've updated our about/FAQ page regarding this as well.

We understand that mobile devices have issues opening Zip files, but we'll be sticking to only releasing Zip download links on our Tumblr.

Lastly - we understand that you may be frustrated, but when reaching out to us, do:

Provide more information up front on any issues you're facing so it's easier for us to help you (as you would with any tech support - do also be reminded that we're scanlators and not actually tech support)

Be nicer in your requests, we're also human!

We're scanlating out of passion and are doing this for free, and we do appreciate your support, but it does hurt sometimes to see when people kinda take us for granted like this :")

Off the top of my head, there's the Biwa series (MRM - Part 1, Part 2) but Gintoki is a Zashiki Warashi spirit in this so not sure if that counts?

We’ve always planned to scanlate all of Syaku’s works eventually and that hasn’t changed! But we do have other books we want to get to as well so this will take some time.

No problem at all, plus I had help from the community to find the book too so I’m kinda just the messenger haha

i remember it was ginhiji and they get into an argument towards the beginning and hijikata tells him to die then leaves, gin ends up assisting hasegawa with a delivery job that puts him on a train and that train car ends up being bombed. everyone thinks gin died in the explosion because no one has heard from him since then and hijikata regrets that that was the last thing he said to him.

10/10 is fast approaching! Just to let everyone know that our release this year will be delayed, as I will be away on a trip for most of October and won't be able to make any posts. I'll post our new release whenever I'm able to, but no guarantees on when :")

Thanks so much for the care and support! We've been pretty busy with IRL stuff but are still doing well, and we'll continue to churn out releases bit by bit!

As for team size - we have 3 core team members who have been with BGS since the start + 2 relatively newer members who are currently working on projects! There are also a couple other members who have joined us along the way but are not currently active/have left.

Thanks for the support! I'd say the bulk of our projects were from the first 3 years, we've slowed down a lot the past few years TvT

Yet another year has gone by and we've somehow made it for a double release! We've finally managed to finish another of Nagisa's compilation books too after so many years! Just 2 more to go + all the other books we have TvT

After these past two years, it's pretty clear that we now really only have enough bandwidth for birthday + maybe anniversary releases... But we'll continue to do what we can to bring you the best quality releases, and we really appreciate everyone's support all this while! It's really what keeps us going 🙏
